Winnipeg Art Gallery
The Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG) is a public art gallery that was founded in 1912. It is Canada's oldest civic gallery and the 6th largest in the country. The WAG is located in the heart of the city of Winnipeg, just two blocks from Manitoba's Provincial Legislature and roughly the same distance from the University of Winnipeg. The WAG's permanent collection includes almost 24,000 works, with a particular emphasis on Manitoban and Canadian art.

Manitoba Legislative Building
The Manitoba Legislative Building is the meeting place of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, in central Winnipeg. It was originally named the Manitoba Parliament Building, not Legislative. The neoclassical building was completed in 1920 and stands seventy-seven meters tall (253 ft). It was designed and built by Frank Worthington Simon (1862–1933) and Henry Boddington III, along with other masons and many skilled craftsmen.
Golden Boy (Manitoba)
The Golden Boy (official name Eternal Youth) is a statue perched facing North on the dome of the Manitoba Legislative Building in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and it is arguably Manitoba's best known symbol. it stands 5.25 metres (17.2 feet) tall from the toe to the top of the torch and 4.27 metres (14 feet) from head to toe. It weighs 1650 kg (3,640 lb), and the top of his torch is 77 metres (250 feet) above ground.

Granite Curling Club (Winnipeg)
The Granite Curling Club, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is the oldest curling club in Western Canada. It has produced many national and world champions. The original Granite Curling Club dates back to 1880. Its current downtown location was built in 1912. It is often considered to be the "St. Andrews" of curling because of its contribution to the sport in curling's most dominant region. One of the early presidents was John B Mather. He assumed that position in 1887.
Osborne Stadium
Osborne Stadium was the home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers from 1935 until 1952 and minor league baseball team Winnipeg Reo Rods. Located in a residential neighbourhood, the stadium required removal of existing houses in the area called West Broadway. It was located just west of the Manitoba Legislative Building (where the Great-West Life building currently stands) and could hold 7,800 fans. The stadium was named for the street it fronted, Osborne Street North.
Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library
The Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library is museum in Winnipeg, Manitoba dedicated to the preservation of handcrafts. It was part of The Crafts Guild of Manitoba until 1997. The museum started in the 1930s after the establishment of The Canadian Handicrafts Guild, Manitoba Branch (later The Crafts Guild of Manitoba) in 1928. The library started in the 1930s and originally held resources for teaching basic skills such as knitting and quilting.
Winnipeg Convention Centre
The Winnipeg Convention Centre is a major meeting and convention facility located in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The publicly owned facility was built in 1975, and was among the first such facilities built in Canada. It contains five levels including indoor parking for 560 vehicles, and three levels of various meeting trade show space totalling 160,000 square feet . The main exhibit hall has 78,000 square feet of pillarless space.
Louis Riel (sculpture)
The Louis Riel sculpture by Miguel Joyal located at 450 Broadway Avenue facing the Assiniboine River on the grounds of the Manitoba Legislative Building, was unveiled on May 12, 1996. The history surrounding Louis Riel as a figure of Métis resistance in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan, the communal need for his remembrance as well as the construction of the monument itself all constitute a part of this sculpture’s design.

The Hudson's Bay Company Archives (HBCA) are located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The HBC archives are a division of the Archives of Manitoba that preserves the thousands of mainly hand-written records and maps of the Hudson's Bay Company employees for hundreds of years. This important archive is one of Canada's national treasures, and is a part of the United Nations Memory of the World project.
