River East is a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was officially created by redistribution in 1979, and has formally existed since the provincial election of 1981. The riding is located on the northeast corner of the City of Winnipeg. It is bordered by the Red River to the west, the city limit, by Springfield to the north and east, and by the riding of Rossmere to the south.

Elmwood—Transcona (formerly Winnipeg—Transcona) is a federal electoral district in Manitoba, Canada, that has been represented in the Canadian House of Commons since 1988. Its population in 2006 was 78,700. The riding was created in 1987 from Winnipeg North Centre and Winnipeg—Birds Hill ridings. It was previously named Winnipeg—Transcona from 1987 to 2003.

Club Regent Casino is a casino located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is one of two casinos in the city (the other being the McPhillips Street Station Casino), both are owned and operated by the Manitoba Lotteries Corporation, and in turn, the Government of Manitoba. The casino opened in 1993, after an assessment regarding the distribution of gambling revenue, was released. Connected to the casino is the Canad Inns Club Regent Hotel.
