CHBC-DT
CHBC-DT (branded on-air as Global Okanagan) is the Global owned-and-operated television station serving the Okanagan Valley region of the Canadian province of British Columbia that is licensed to Kelowna. As of October 11, 2012, it began broadcasting over-the-air in digital. The station's Kelowna transmitter is located near Lambly Creek Road in Central Okanagan and operates 18 rebroadcast transmitters across the southeastern part of the province.
Blue Hawk Mine
Blue Hawk Mine is located on the east slope of Blue Grouse Mountain, on the west side of Okanagan Lake. The mine is just a few kilometres from Downtown Kelowna in the Canadian province of British Columbia. The mine consists of several adits operated for a single year, 1934, and has been virtually abandoned ever since.

Lambly Creek is located in the Okanagan region of British Columbia. The creek flows into Okanagan Lake from the west across from Kelowna. Lambly Creek is also known as Bear Creek. In 1876, gold was discovered in the Creek. The creek was mined for gold. Gold Nuggets with a $5 value have been recovered from the creek.
