Saanichton
Saanichton, British Columbia is a village, in the municipality of Central Saanich, located between Victoria and the BC Ferry Terminal, west of the Pat Bay Highway (Hwy 17), at the junction of Mount Newton Cross Road and East Saanich Road. Saanichton hosts the Saanich Pioneer Museum dedicated to the history of settlement of the Saanich Peninsula.

Elk Lake (British Columbia)
Elk Lake is a large lake located in Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park in Saanich, British Columbia. Elk Lake and Beaver Lake are actually one lake as a shallow channel connects them. Elk/Beaver lake was known as the "Freshwater Playground of Victoria" in its heyday, the 1930s and 1940s. However, with the completion of the Pat Bay highway in the 1950s, focus turned to environmentalism, and measures were taken to start restoring the park to its natural state and protecting it.
Island View Beach
Island View Beach is located on the eastern shore of the Saanich Peninsula, near Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It was discovered by James Douglas, and first mate Scott M. Jenkin in the latter half of the 18th century. Located east of James Island, to locals it is known as the "Beach of Destiny". Located at Homathko and Puckle Road. The campground is open for the summer season from the Victoria Day long weekend in May to the Labour Day long weekend in September.
