McMahon Stadium
McMahon Stadium is a Canadian football stadium located in Calgary, Alberta. The stadium is owned by the University of Calgary and operated by the McMahon Stadium Society. McMahon Stadium is located between the downtown core and the University of Calgary, north of 16 Avenue NW between Crowchild Trail and University Drive. It is within walking distance of the Banff Trail C-Train station.
University (C-Train)
University is a stop on the Northwest Line (Route 201) of the C-Train light rail system in Calgary, Alberta. The station opened on September 7, 1987 as part of the original Northwest line. The station is located in the median of Crowchild Trail, just north of 24 Avenue NW and east of the University of Calgary grounds. This was the terminus of the Northwest Line of the C-Train system from opening up until August 30, 1990 particularly as the Olympic Village was at the University.
Banff Trail (C-Train)
Banff Trail is a stop on the Northwest Line (Route 201) of the C-Train light rail system in Calgary, Alberta. It opened on September 7, 1987 as part of the original Northwest line and is located on the exclusive LRT right of way on the East side of Banff Trail NW, 4.1 km Northwest of the 7 Avenue & 9 Street SW interlocking. The station consists of two side-loading platforms with grade-level access from a pedestrian crossing of the tracks at the northern end of the station.
Foothills Stadium
Foothills Stadium, formerly Burns Stadium, is a stadium in Calgary, Alberta. It is primarily used for baseball, and was formerly home to the Calgary Cannons AAA baseball club until September 2002, when the team relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. It was later the home field of the Calgary Vipers baseball team of the North American League. It originally opened in 1966. The most notable early team to play in the stadium was the Calgary Expos of the Pioneer League.

Banff Trail is a residential neighborhood in the north-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located north-east of the intersection of Crowchild Trail and Trans-Canada Highway, east of McMahon Stadium and the University of Calgary. The Banff Trail station of the C-train LRT system serves the community, which contains a large motel village in the south-west corner. It is named for the town of Banff, which in turn takes its name from Banffshire, Scotland.
Charleswood, Calgary
Charleswood is a residential neighbourhood in the north-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located east of Crowchild Trail and the University of Calgary. It borders the Nose Hill Park to the north and the Confederation Park to the south-east. Charleswood is represented in the Calgary City Council by Ward 7 Alderman Druh Farrell.
Capitol Hill, Calgary
Capitol Hill is a residential neighbourhood in the north-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located immediately north of the Trans-Canada Highway, and is bisected by 14th Street West. The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and the North Hill shopping center are located south of the community. To the north it is bounded by the Confederation Park. Capitol Hill was established in 1948, but contains buildings as old as 1910. Most of the community was built in the 1950s.
Rosemont, Calgary
Rosemont is a residential neighbourhood in the north-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by Northmount Drive to the north, by Cambrian Drive to the east, by 23 Avenue N and the Confederation Park to the south and by 14 Street W to the west. The lands were annexed to the City of Calgary in 1910, and the neighbourhood was established in 1958. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by Ward 4 Alderman Bob Hawkesworth.
Collingwood, Calgary
Collingwood is a residential neighbourhood in the north-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located immediately south of the Nose Hill Park and John Laurie Boulevard and west from 14th Street W. To the south it is bordered by Confederation Park, Canmore Park and the Confederation Park Golf course. The area was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1910, and Collingwood was established in 1959. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by Ward 7 Alderman Druh Farrell.
