Westbrook School
Westbrook School is an elementary school located in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, operated by the Edmonton Public Schools board. It shares a field with Vernon Barford Junior High, it is said that most students do go to Vernon Barford for grades 7 -9. The school opened in January 1967; students selected for the school double shifted with Malmo school from September 1966 until construction was complete.

The Edmonton Valley Zoo is a zoo located in the heart of Edmonton, Alberta's river valley. The Edmonton Valley Zoo is owned and operated by the City of Edmonton and is open 364 days a year, only closing on Christmas. The zoo is currently accredited by the Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums and is one of three accredited zoos in Alberta. Whitemud Creek
Whitemud Creek is a tributary of the North Saskatchewan River in central Alberta, Canada. For part of its length, the creek flows through the city of Edmonton, separating neighbourhoods in the Riverbend and Terwillegar areas from other neighbourhoods on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River. Neighbourhoods overlooking the Whitemud Creek tend to be more affluent. The creek splits off into Blackmud Creek in the neighbourhood of Twin Brooks.

Edmonton-Whitemud is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Canada. In 1989, its constituents unseated the Premier of the day, Donald Getty, by voting for Liberal candidate, Percy Wickman. The district is represented by David Hancock who is in his fourth term as the Member of the Legislative Assembly. Hancock has also served as Minister of Justice twice, Attorney General and prior to that as Minister of Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Affairs.
Fort Edmonton Footbridge
The Fort Edmonton Footbridge is a pedestrian bridge that crosses the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Lead by CH2M HILL and designed by HFKS Architects, it is the city's first suspension bridge. The bridge is located southwest of Fort Edmonton Park and connects to the existing multi-use trail system with the new park land on the west side of the river. It officially opened on June 18, 2011.
