University of Alberta
The University of Alberta (also known as U of A and UAlberta) is a public research university located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It was founded in 1908 by Alexander Cameron Rutherford, the first premier of Alberta, and Henry Marshall Tory, its first president. Its enabling legislation is the Post-secondary Learning Act. The university comprises four campuses in Edmonton, the Augustana Campus in Camrose, and a staff centre in downtown Calgary.

Edmonton-Strathcona is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Canada. It shares the same name as the federal electoral district of Edmonton—Strathcona. The boundaries of Edmonton-Strathcona include the neighbourhoods of Garneau, Strathcona, Queen Alexandra, Pleasantview, Allendale, Empire Park, Bonnie Doon and Idylwylde, and encompases the historic district of Old Strathcona.

University Station is an LRT station operated by Edmonton Transit System in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is located beneath the University of Alberta campus at 112 Street and 89 Avenue. University Station was opened August 23, 1992 and was the first LRT Station located on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River. It is connected to Grandin (Government Centre) Station by the Dudley B. Menzies Bridge, a dedicated LRT bridge (with a lower level for pedestrians and cyclists).

It is located on the surface at 83 Avenue and 114 Street on the University of Alberta campus near the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, the Walter MacKenzie Health Sciences Centre, the Edmonton Clinic Health Centre, the Health Research Innovation Facility and the Canadian Blood Services Edmonton Blood Donor Clinic.
McKernan/Belgravia (ETS)
McKernan/Belgravia Station is an LRT station built as part of the Edmonton Transit System's South LRT Expansion Project. The station, located between the Health Sciences/Jubilee Station and the South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park Station, provides service to the neighborhoods of Belgravia and McKernan. The station is on the northwest corner of the intersection of 76 Avenue and 114 Street, and immediately across 114 Street from McKernan Elementary-Junior High School.
South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park (ETS)
South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park is an LRT station and transit centre located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and was constructed as part of the Edmonton Transit System's South LRT Expansion Project. It is located on the University of Alberta's south campus near Foote Field, the Saville Centre, and the Neil Crawford Centre. This is approximately two blocks to the west of the site originally proposed for the station on 113 Street.

Foote Field
Foote Field is a multi-purpose sports facility on the University of Alberta campus in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, built as a legacy facility for the 2001 World Championships in Athletics. It was named for University of Alberta alumnus, former varsity track athlete, and philanthropist Eldon Foote, who donated $2 million toward the construction costs.
Garneau Theatre
The Garneau Theatre is a historic movie theatre located on 109 Street in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The theatre originally operated independently until it joined with Famous Players in 1941. It closed in late 1990, and reopened in December 1991 under Magic Lantern Theatres who restored it in 1996. Magic Lantern operated the Garneau until June 2011 when it closed. The Garneau became Metro Cinema Edmonton's new home in July 2011, and was officially reopened in September 2011.
Cross Cancer Institute
The Cross Cancer Institute is the comprehensive cancer centre for northern Alberta, and is one of two tertiary cancer centres in the province. It provides inpatient and outpatient services for cancer patients and counselling and support services for patients and their families. It is also a world leader in cancer research. The institute is located in Edmonton near the south west corner of the University of Alberta campus at 87 Avenue and 115 Street.
Alberta School for the Deaf
The Alberta School for the Deaf is a provincial school in Edmonton, Alberta with elementary and secondary residential and day programs serving deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Teachers are both deaf and hearing. Alberta School for the Deaf is modeled on a bilingual-bicultural approach. The population is approximately 40 students in the senior school and 60 in the elementary school. Deaf students from Canada often attend Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. for post-secondary programs.
