Glenmore Reservoir
The Glenmore Reservoir is a large artificial reservoir on the Elbow River in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. The Glenmore Dam is the concrete structure that holds back the reservoir. The reservoir is a primary source of drinking water to the city. Built in 1932, with a cost of $3.8 million, the dam controls the downstream flow of the Elbow River, thus allowing the city to develop property near the river's banks with less risk of flooding.
Calgary Girls' School
Calgary Girls' School (CGS) is an all female public charter school in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It currently teaches grades 4-9. Established in 2003, the school operates at two sites. Haysboro is a residential neighbourhood in the south-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by Heritage Drive to the north, Macleod Trail to the east, 98th Avenue (an alley north of Southland Drive) to the south and 14 Street W and the Glenmore Reservoir to the west. It is bisected by Elbow Drive. Haysboro was established in 1958 on land owned by Harry Hays until the annexation (1956). It is represented in the Calgary City Council by Ward 11 Alderman Brian Pincott.

The land was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1956, and Mayfair was established one year later, in 1957. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by Ward 11 Alderman Brian Pincott.
