Aprilov National High School
The Aprilov National High School (Национална Априловска гимназия) in Gabrovo is the first modern secular school in Bulgaria. It was opened on 2 January 1835, when Bulgaria was still part of the Ottoman Empire, with the financial help of Vasil Aprilov, Nikola Palauzov, Vasil Rasheev and other wealthy Bulgarians and was based on the Bell-Lancaster method. Formed as the Gabrovo School, it took the name of its primary benefactor, Vasil Aprilov, in 1889.

The House of Humour and Satire (Bulgarian: Дом на Хумора и Сатирата; Dom na Humora i Satirata) in Gabrovo, Bulgaria, is an exposition of traditional local humour art, including cartoons, photographs, paintings, sculptures, and verbal humour. The House combines features of a museum and an art gallery. The city of Gabrovo is also known as an international capital of humour and satire. Its motto is "The world lasts because it laughs".
Hristo Botev Stadium (Gabrovo)
Hristo Botev Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. It is currently chiefly used for football matches. The stadium holds 14,000 people. It is the home ground of FC Yantra Some interesting concerts took place at the stadium in 1988 - Uriah Heep, 2002 - t.A.T.u. The stadium hosted the 1990 Final match of Bulgarian Football Cup between FC Sliven and CSKA Sofia which was won 2-0 by Sliven. Since 2004, every summer the stadium is a host to a football tournament: "Kamenitza fan cup"
