Natal, Rio Grande do Norte
Natal is the capital and largest city of Rio Grande do Norte, a northeastern state in Brazil. As of the IBGE July 2009, the city had a total population of 806,203 (1,263,547 in its Greater Natal). Natal is considered by IPEA, the safest capital city in the country. The implementation of the Via Costeira (Coastal Highway), 10 km (5.5 mi) long avenue along the shore and the dunes, was the true starting point for the beginning of tourist activity in the State in the 1980s.
Ponta Negra
Ponta Negra (lit. "Black Tip") is a famous beach and neighborhood located in the Brazilian city of Natal, the capital of the state of Rio Grande do Norte. Located in the extreme south of the beach is the Morro do Careca (Bald Hill), a large dune and an iconic landmark of the city. Located in the extreme north of the beach is the Via Costeira (Coastal Way), a long coastal road that connects Ponta Negra with several other beaches of the city, such as Areia Preta and Praia dos Artistas.
Machadão
Estádio Dr. João Cláudio Vasconcelos Machado, usually known as Machadão, was a multi-purpose stadium in the Brazilian city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte. It was mostly used for football matches. Estádio Machadão was owned by the Natal City Hall. The stadium was named after João Cláudio Vasconcelos Machado, who was the president of the Rio Grande do Norte Football Federation and a sports broadcaster.
Frasqueirão
Estádio Maria Lamas Farache, usually known as Frasqueirão is a multi-purpose stadium in the Brazilian city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has an initial capacity of 18,000 people and will be expanded to 24,000 spectators. Estádio Frasqueirão is owned by ABC Futebol Clube. The stadium is named after Maria Lamas Farache, who was the wife of ABC's former chairman Vicente Farache.
Midway Mall (Brazil)
Midway Mall is the largest shopping center in the state of Rio Grande do Norte and one of the largest in the Northeast Region, located in the city of Natal. The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Portuguese: Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, UFRN) is a public Brazilian university funded by the Brazilian federal government, located in the city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. Formally established on December 18, 1960, it includes 60 departments providing 50 different undergraduate courses, as well as a number of graduate programs.
Arena das Dunas
The Arena das Dunas or Dunas Arena is a football stadium designed by International Stadium Architect, Christopher Lee of Populous (formerly HOK Sport) under construction since January 2011 to host football matches for the 2014 FIFA World Cup which will be held in Brazil. Is being built in the city of Natal in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte Brazilian state. The stadium is due to be built in place of the Machadão stadium the Machadinho gym, whose buildings were demolished in 2011.
Newton Navarro Bridge
The Newton Navarro Bridge, is one of the biggest cable-stayed bridge of Brazil located in the city of Natal, capital of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte. It connects North Zone and the cities of the north coast to the South Zone and other regions of the city crossing Potengi River.
Genipabu
Genipabu (or Jenipabu) is a beach with a complex of dunes, a lagoon and an environmental protection area (APA) located in Natal, one of the most famous post-cards of the Rio Grande do Norte Brazilian state. Genipabu is internationally famous for its natural beauty and for its "buggie" and dromedarie rides. With its beautiful and calm waters, it attract lots of tourists in the summer. Its huge dunes and fresh water lagoon are a major touristic destination.

Port of Natal
The Port of Natal (Portuguese: Porto de Natal) is in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, on the Potengi River. It is the South American port closest to Europe. Inaugurated on January 14, 1922, the port is administered by CODERN (Companhia Docas do Rio Grande do Norte), and today has a strong focus on the export of fruit. Despite its prime location, the Port of Natal is criticized for being too small and unable to receive large vessels.

There is also a Cumbria Coastal Way. The Senador Dinarte Mariz Avenue, also known as Via Costeira (English for "Coastal Way") is one of the most important avenues in Natal, Brazil. Much visited by tourists, is a continuation of Ponta Negra beach in Natal, and consists of a coastal road about 9 km in length up to the Meio Beach.

It has a height of 120 meters, with a margin determined by vegetation. It is located in the extreme south of Ponta Negra beach - the capital's most famous beach. In the past Morro do Careca was a spot for recreation and entertainment.

The Dunas State Park Journalist Luiz Maria Alves is a considered the second largest urban park in Brazil. The park is best known simply as "Parque das Dunas" (Dunes Park), or "Bosque dos Namorados" (Valentine's Woods), is a reserve of 1,172 hectares of Atlantic Forest and dunes in the heart of the city of Natal, capital of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte.
Forte dos Reis Magos
The Fortaleza da Barra do Rio Grande, popularly known as the Forte dos Reis Magos or Fortaleza dos Reis Magos (Fortress of Three Wise Men), is a fortress located in the city of Natal in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte. The fortress was the first milestone of the city - founded on 25 December 1599 - on the right side of the bar of the Potengi River (today near the Newton Navarro bridge).
