Botswana
Botswana, officially the Republic of Botswana (Tswana: Lefatshe la Botswana), is a landlocked country located in Southern Africa. The citizens refer to themselves as "Batswana", but many English-language sources use "Botswanan" instead. Formerly the British protectorate of Bechuanaland, Botswana adopted its new name after becoming independent within the Commonwealth on 30 September 1966. It has held free and fair democratic elections since independence.
Gaborone
Gaborone is the capital and largest city of Botswana with a population of 231,626 based on the 2011 census, about 10% of the total population of Botswana. Its agglomeration is home to 421,907 inhabitants at the 2011 census. Gaborone is situated between Kgale and Oodi Hills, on the Notwane River in the southeastern corner of Botswana, and 15 kilometres from the South African border. The city is served by the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport.
University of Botswana
The University of Botswana, or UB was established in 1982 as the first institution of higher education in Botswana. The university has four campuses: two in the capital city Gaborone, one in Francistown, and another in Maun. The university is divided into six faculties: Business, Education, Engineering, Humanities, Science and Social Sciences. A Faculty of Medicine is scheduled to enroll students in 2009 as part of a collaboration with the University of Melbourne in Australia.
National Assembly (Botswana)
The National Assembly is the legislature Botswana's unicameral Parliament. It is advised by the House of Chiefs, which is not a house of Parliament. The current National Assembly, formed following elections held on 16 October 2009, has a total of 63 members. 57 members are directly elected in single member constituencies using the simple-majority system for a term of five years. Four members are co-opted (by secret ballot of the rest of the Assembly) while the remaining two are ex-officio.
Botswana National Stadium
The Botswana National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Gaborone, Botswana. It is currently used mostly for Football matches. The stadium holds 22,000. The pitch is surrounded by an Athletics track, the stadium is coupled with a Rugby venue, which has fallen into disuse, and a Tennis facility. The stadium is made up of a total of 10 stands, 3 of which are covered. The 3 large stands on each end of the stadium make up the north and south ends.

The Botswana National Museum, also known as the National Museum and Art Gallery, is located in the Botswanan capital of Gaborone and is a multi-disciplinary institution that includes the National Art Gallery and Octagon Gallery, as well as—since November 2007—the National Botanical Garden. It displays traditional Botswana crafts and paintings and aims to celebrate the work of local artists.

The Botswana Accountancy College, also known as BAC or bac, is a business school located in the city of Gaborone, Botswana. Initially funded and established through a joint venture between The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning and Debswana, the college caters for both the accountancy and IT tertiary needs for the country. BAC has two main campuses; the main campus being located in Gaborone, and the secondary one in Francistown.
Department of Taxes and Attorney General's Chambers Building
The Department of Taxes and Attorney General's Chambers Building (sometimes shortened to Attorney General's Chambers Building) is currently the tallest building in Botswana{{#invoke:Footnotes|sfn}} and one of the most expensive buildings built in Africa. {{#invoke:Footnotes|sfn}} The building, located in the Government Enclave on Nelson Mandela Drive in Gaborone, is home to the Botswana Department of Taxes and the Attorney General's Chambers.
