Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque
The Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque (Bosnian: Gazi Husrev-begova Džamija, Turkish: Gazi Hüsrev Bey Camii), is a mosque in the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is considered the most important Islamic structure in the country and one of the world's finest examples of Ottoman architecture. It is located in the Baščaršija neighborhood in the Stari Grad municipality, and remains one of the most popular centers of worship in the city.

Emperor's Mosque
The Emperor's Mosque is an important landmark in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, being the first mosque to be built (1457) after the Ottoman conquest of Bosnia. Serb Orthodox Cathedral (Sarajevo)
The Cathedral Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos (Serbian: Саборна Црква Рођења Пресвете Богородице or Saborna Crkva Rođenja Presvete Bogorodice) is the largest Serbian Orthodox church in Sarajevo and one of the largest in the Balkans. The cathedral is dedicated to the nativity of the Theotokos. It was erected at the request of the Orthodox parish of Sarajevo between 1863 and 1868. The church is constructed as a three-section basilica inscribed in a cross-shaped plan, and has five domes.
Sarajevo Synagogue
Sarajevo Synagogue (Bosnian: Sinagoga u Sarajevu) is Sarajevo's primary and largest synagogue and is located on the south bank of the river Miljacka. It was constructed in 1902 and remains the only functioning synagogue in Sarajevo today.
Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria
On 28 June 1914, Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir presumptive to the Austro-Hungarian throne, and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, were shot dead in Sarajevo, by Gavrilo Princip, one of a group of six Bosnian Serb assassins coordinated by Danilo Ilić. The political objective of the assassination was to break off Austria-Hungary's south-Slav provinces so they could be combined into a Greater Serbia or a Yugoslavia.
Eternal flame (Sarajevo)
The Eternal flame is a memorial to the military and civilian victims of the Second World War in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The memorial was dedicated on 6 April 1946, the first anniversary of the liberation of Sarajevo from the four-year-long occupation by Nazi Germany and the Independent State of Croatia. The memorial is located in the centre of Sarajevo at the corner the Marshall Tito street and the main Sarajevo pedestrian street, Ferhadija.
Ferhadija Mosque in Sarajevo
Ferhadija Mosque, also known as Ferhat-Pasha Mosque, Ferhad-Beg Vuković Mosque, is a central building in the city of Sarajevo built by Bosnian Sanjak-bey (governor) Ferhad-Beg Vuković, a descendant of the famous mediaeval Vuković-Desisalić family. This mosque has one dome above the prayer area (namaz) and three small domes at the cloister and is one of the greatest achievements of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s 16th century Ottoman and Islamic architecture.
Gazi Husrev bey's public kitchen and Hostelry
Gazi Husrev bey's Public Kitchen and Hostelry was built in Sarajevo at the same time as the Bey’s Mosque was built, in 1530. It was a two story building where students, endowment administrators, indigent travelers (for up to three days) and the needy were fed. The hostelry had similar purpose where it provided accommodation up for three nights for free, as well as for students, endowment administrators, indigent travelers.
National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian: Umjetnička galerija Bosne i Hercegovine) is a national gallery in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in Sarajevo. The gallery was established on October 11, 1946, and contains over 6000 pieces of art. Its main focus are the works of Bosnian and Herzegovinian interest. The gallery was open and held exhibitions during the whole period of the siege of Sarajevo and the Bosnian war in 1992-1995.
