Stade du Pays de Charleroi
Stade du Pays de Charleroi is a football stadium in the city of Charleroi, Belgium. It was built for the 2000 UEFA European Championship in Belgium and the Netherlands in replacement of the old stadium known as Mambourg. It is the home of Sporting Charleroi. Its capacity was 30,000 for Euro 2000 but was reduced shortly after to 25,000 in line with Charleroi's average attendances.

The Battle of Thimeon was a German victory over the Vikings near Thimeon north of the Sambre in February 880. In 879, Vikings from England settled on the river Scheldt. After celebrating Christmas at Frankfurt am Main that year and signing the Treaty of Ribemont with Louis III and Carloman II of West Francia, Louis the Younger marched an army northward on the Viking settlement.

Beaux-Arts (Fine arts) is the largest station in the Charleroi Metro network, located in Charleroi downtown, in fare zone 1. Because of its situation on a slope, the station terminates on a viaduct at one end, and in a tunnel at the other end. The station has two street entrances leading to a mezzanine level where ticket counters and shops are located. Platforms are accessible from the mezzanine through escalators and stairs.

Parc is a Charleroi Metro station, located in downtown Charleroi, in fare zone 1. It is an underground station featuring a central platform, with street access at both ends. Interior decoration, themed around the Lucky Luke Belgian comics character, features a fresco of the comics main characters on one side, and a short comics strip depicting a train attack by the Daltons on the other side. There's also a Lucky Luke statue outside of the station, near the park's eastern entrance.

Interior decoration, designed by architect Jean Yernaux, is themed around the Belgian comics characters from Dupuis Publishing, a well-known Belgian comics publishing company based in Marcinelle (part of the Charleroi municipality).
Tirou (Charleroi Metro)
Tirou is a Charleroi Metro station, located in downtown Charleroi, in fare zone 1. Tirou is an open-air station located at street level (Rue de l'écluse) and offers same-platform bus transfer. The station's lateral platform are publicly accessible and serve as regular street sidewalks. The station and the nearby Tirou Boulevard are named after Joseph Tirou (1876-1952), a former Belgian politician and mayor of Charleroi.
