Battle of Ramillies
The Battle of Ramillies, fought on 23 May 1706, was a major engagement of the War of the Spanish Succession. For the Grand Alliance – Austria, England, and the Dutch Republic – the battle had followed an indecisive campaign against the Bourbon armies of King Louis XIV of France in 1705. Although the Allies had captured Barcelona that year, they had been forced to abandon their campaign on the Moselle, had stalled in the Spanish Netherlands, and suffered defeat in northern Italy.

Jandrenouille is a small Belgian village in the municipality of Orp-Jauche, province of Walloon Brabant. The village of Jandrain is situated just to the north of Jandrenouille.
Neerwinden
Neerwinden is a village in Belgium in the province of Flemish Brabant, a few miles southeast of Tienen, and is now part of the municipality of Landen. The village gave its name to two great battles, the first fought in 1693 between the Anglo-Allied army under William III of England and the French under the duke of Luxemburg, ending in a French victory. (This battle, during the War of the Grand Alliance, is usually called the Battle of Landen.
Battle of Jodoigne
The Battle of Jodoigne was fought October 20th 1568 between Spanish and Dutch forces. The Spanish destroyed the rear guard of William the Silent's invading army, forcing him to abandon his invasion of the Netherlands and to retreat into Germany. The Dutch outnumbered the Spanish army, but were caught off-guard by the Spanish attack. This resulted in a crushing defeat for the Dutch.
Rhâââ Lovely Festival
The Rhâââ Lovely Festival was a Belgian indie post-rock festival that took place each April at Cortil-Wodon, a village near Namur, in rural Wallonia. A non-profit organisation, composed of volunteers, organised and promoted the event. The 9th annual Rhâââ Lovely Festival took place on 29 March 2008. A subsequent announcement on the official website stated that there would be no further edition of the festival.
St. Leonard's Church, Zoutleeuw
The Saint Leonard's Church in Zoutleeuw, Belgium, stands on the former site of a Romanesque chapel erected in 1125 by Benedictines from the Abbey of Vlierbeek near Leuven. Construction of the present church began around 1231, and additions continued into the 16th century. Rendered mainly in the Gothic style, the building in its oldest parts shows traces of the Romanesque. The two heavy square towers flanking the west facade are connected with each other by means of a gallery over the nave.

Vissenaken is a village in Belgium. It is part of the municipality Tienen. It is located north of the city of Tienen and is divided into two parishes: Sint-Maartens and Sint-Pieters. The saint Himelin is known only in Vissenaken.
Cortil-Wodon
Cortil-Wodon is a village in the municipality of Fernelmont in the province of Namur, Belgium. It was formerly a municipality itself until the fusion of Belgian municipalities in 1977. It was the site of every edition of the annual Rhâââ Lovely Festival, from 2000 until 2008 inclusive.

Franc-Waret Castle
The Château de Franc-Waret is a château situated in Franc-Waret in the municipality of Fernelmont in the province of Namur, Belgium. A moat girdles the castle. The castle is adorned by French gardens and an English style garden sprawls over 120 hectares of the palace. The castle's interiors are equally august as its exteriors. The indoor decor is classic 17th and 18th century, and is decorated with furniture, silverware, porcelain and tapestries.

Bertrée is a small village that belongs to the Walloon municipality Hannut, located in the province of Liége of Belgium. It has a surface area of 2,78 km² and has a population of 414 (1 January, 2007).
Battle of Hannut
The Battle of Hannut (not to be confused with the Battle of Gembloux Gap) was a Second World War battle fought during the Battle of Belgium which took place between 12 and 14 May 1940 at Hannut, Belgium. It was the largest ever tank battle at the time.

Liernu is a subdivision of the Walloon Eghezee municipality located in the Belgian province of Namur. Liernu had 806 inhabitants as of March 2006, and extends over 625 Ha.

Château des Cailloux is a castle in Jodoigne, Belgium. It was built in a neo-renaissance style in 1881–1883. After a fire in 1952, the roof was rebuilt in a more simple fashion.
Duras Castle
The Castle of Duras in Duras, part of the Belgian city of Sint-Truiden is built in the Classical style . This Belgian castle was built between 1787 and 1789 and is located in a beautiful area. The castle was built on the location of the original castle of the Counts of Duras, which was built in 1102. The castle grounds cover an area of more than 100 ha, consisting of woods, meadows, fields and orchards. It also includes a watermill and a farm. It is now a protected monument.

Opheylissem Castle
Opheylissem Castle is a large stately home in Opheylissem in the municipality of Hélécine, Walloon Brabant, Belgium. The present building represents the remains of the former Premonstratensian Opheylissem Abbey, which was dissolved in 1796. Most of the buildings were destroyed, but the abbot's house (prelatuur) remained, and in 1870 was restructured by the architect Alphonse Balat in its present form. Balat laid out the surrounding park at the same time.

Goetsenhoven Military Airfield
Goetsenhoven Military Airfield is a Belgian Air Component base, located 2 miles south of Tienen (Brabant Provincie), approximately 26 miles east-southeast of Brussels (Bruxelles). The airfield is used as a training facility for Belgian Air Cadets, equipped with six Piper L21B Super Cubs, and several Schleicher K 8B Gliders.
Velm
Velm is a village in the Belgian province of Limburg and one of the communities constituting the municipality of Sint-Truiden. The village has a surface of 10,45 km² and comprised 2175 inhabitants in 2001. Velm is a residential village in Haspengouw, 6 km southeast of Sint-Truiden. It is bounded in the east by the N80 motorway, leading to Namur, and in the west by the railroad Sint-Truiden to Landen. On that line, Velm had a railway station until 1957.
