Onze-Lieve-Vrouw ten Troost
The Onze-Lieve-Vrouw ten Troost Kerk (Church of Our Lady of Consolation), simply known as the Troostkerk, is a basilica in Vilvoorde, Belgium. The history of the church and its Carmelite monastery (the oldest in Western Europe) go back 800 years. It was consecrated as a basilica on May 7, 2006 by Cardinal Godfried Danneels.
Grimbergen Abbey
Grimbergen Abbey was a Premonstratensian monastery in Grimbergen, Flemish Brabant, Belgium, established in 1128 in the place of an earlier foundation of Augustinian Canons. The abbey itself was dissolved in 1796 in the aftermath of the French Revolution, but the abbey church of Saint Servatius survived as the parish church of Grimbergen. The building in its present form dates from 1660 and is considered one of the most beautiful and best-integrated Baroque churches in the Low Countries.
Vilvoorde Viaduct
The Vilvoorde viaduct is part of the R0 Brussels beltway. Built as the last piece to close the Brussels beltway in 1977, it allowed the beltway to be opened for traffic on December 29 the same year. It crosses several roads, the river Zenne, the Brussels-Scheldt canal, a railroad and the (then) Renault factory. Today's daily traffic is about 140.000 vehicles, while the saturation point is about 180.000.

The Museum for Old Techniques, MOT for short, is located in Grimbergen, Belgium. The museum has an extensive collection of hand tools, technical manuals and trade catalogues. The MOT studies the history of techniques, more specifically natural power. The subject is limited to what is driven by muscle, water or wind power.
Strombeek-Bever
Strombeek-Bever is an urbanised town with about 11,500 inhabitants in the municipality of Grimbergen, in the province of Flemish Brabant, Belgium. A suburb on the north side of Brussels, it is separated from Grimbergen proper by the R0 ring road around the city. It borders Laken to the south and the municipality of Vilvoorde to the east. The official language is Dutch (as everywhere in Flanders). Strombeek is home to a substantial minority of French-speakers.
