Sint-Martens-Lierde is a small village which makes up part of the municipality of Lierde. It is located in the Denderstreek and in the Flemish Ardennes, the hilly southern part of the Belgian province of East Flanders. The village's coat of arms shows some agricultural implements, and was granted in 1818.

Hemelveerdegem is a small village and borough which makes up part of the municipality of Lierde in the Denderstreek in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The village and estate were ruled from the 17th century until at least the late 18th century by the armigerous Boelare family. The village's coat of arms shows a beehive with a lion behind it. The arms were granted on August 4, 1818 and were confirmed on September 7, 1928.
Everbeek
Everbeek is a village situated in the Flemish Ardennes and in the Denderstreek in Belgium. In 1975, it was included into the municipality of Brakel. Although it is Dutch speaking, this village was part of the Walloon province of Hainaut (Henegouwen) until 1963, when it became part of the Flemish province of East Flanders.
Mark (Dender)
The Mark (Dutch) or Marcq (French) is a river in Belgium, right tributary of the Dender. It rises south-west of Enghien, Hainaut. It passes through the homonymous village Marcq, Enghien and Galmaarden. The Mark flows into the Dender between Lessines and Geraardsbergen. The Dender is a tributary of the Scheldt.
