Kalvaryja
Kalvaryja is a Catholic Calvary cemetery in Minsk, Belarus. The cemetery contains a small Catholic chapel, currently used for general worship. The original wooden Catholic church was first built here back in 1673, but currently the oldest remaining graves are from 1808. The small chapel was built in 1839. Several famous Polish and Belarusian personalities from the 19th century are buried at Kalvaryja.

The Minsk Metro is a rapid-transit system that serves Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Opened in 1984, it presently consists of 2 lines and 28 stations totaling 35.5 kilometres. In 2005 it carried 800,000 passengers per day.
Minsk-1 Airport
Minsk-1 Airport is an airport located within the city limits of Minsk, Belarus, just a few kilometres south from the centre. It takes about 10 minutes by car or bus to reach the airport from the city centre. It has one 2000 m x 60 m runway, enabling aircraft of maximum weight of 63 tons to operate. Minsk-1 was built in 1933. The first aircraft to use the airport was a K-5. In 1934, Po-2 aircraft were served in the airport.

Dinamo-Yuni Stadium
Dinamo-Yuni Stadium is a football stadium in Minsk, Belarus. It is currently used for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Dinamo Minsk. The stadium holds 4,500 people and was opened in 2000. Until 2008 the stadium was named Darida Stadium and was a home ground for FC Darida Minsk Raion. After the team's dissolution in late 2008 the stadium was bought by Dinamo Minsk and renamed to its current name, Dinamo-Yuni Stadium.
Drazdy conflict
The Drazdy conflict (sometimes spelled Drozdy) was an incident in July 1998 involving the Government of Belarus and diplomats from other nations. It began by the leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko declaring the Drazdy Complex as property of the government and shutting it down for repairs. The problem was that many diplomats, especially from Western nation-states, called the complex home.
Minsk-Arena
Minsk-Arena is a multi-use indoor arena in Minsk, Belarus. The Minsk-Arena Complex is unique in its complexity and functionality not only in Belarus but also in Europe. It includes a multi-sports and entertainment arena for 15,000 spectators (making it the largest arena in use by a Kontinental Hockey League team), a skating stadium for up to 3,000 spectators and a velodrome at 2,000 spectators.

Church of Saints Simon and Helena
Church of Saints Simon and Helen (Belarusian: Касцёл святых Сымона і Алены) also known as the Red Church is a Roman Catholic church on Independence Square in Minsk, Belarus. This neo-Romanesque church was designed by polish architects Tomasz Pajzderski and Władysław Marconi, and built during 1905-1910. The bricks for its walls were sourced from Częstochowa, whilst the roof tiles came from Włocławek. Its construction was financed by Edward Woyniłłowicz, a prominent Polish civic activist.

Minsk Ice Palace is an indoor sporting arena located in Minsk, Belarus. It is used to host various indoor events. The arena seats 1,823 spectators and opened in 1999.
2008 Minsk bombing
The 2008 Minsk bombing took place just after midnight on 4 July 2008, in Minsk, Belarus and wounded 54 people. The explosion happened near the Hero City Memorial at a concert to celebrate Belarus' independence. The concert had been attended by Belarus' President, Alexander Lukashenko, who was not hurt and who officials said was not the target. A second, larger bomb was discovered before the blast. No clear motive for the blast has been revealed.

The Minsk Ghetto was created soon after the German invasion of the Soviet Union. It was one of the largest in Eastern Europe, and the largest in the German-occupied territory of the Soviet Union. It housed close to 100,000 Jews, most of whom perished in The Holocaust.
Pischalauski Castle
Pischalauski Castle, also spelled Pishchalauski Castle, is a castle in Minsk, Belarus. The castle is also sometimes called the Belarusian Bastille. It is a registered state architectural monument. The castle was built in 1825. It formerly served as a prison. The architect was named Pishchala. The castle was the site of the imprisonment of Belarusian writer Yakub Kolas from 1908 to 1911.
