BelOMO or Belorusskoe Optiko-Mechanichesckoye Obyedinenie (Belarus Optical & Mechanical Enterprise) was founded in Minsk in 1971 in Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union, now Belarus. The main plant of this enterprise is the Minskiy Mechanichesckiy Zavod imeni S.I. Vavilova (Minsk Mechanical Works named by S.I. Vavilov), founded in 1957. Belarusfilm
Belarusfilm is the main film studio of Belarus. Founded in 1928 as the Soviet Belarus studio (Савецкая Беларусь) in Leningrad, the studio was moved to Minsk in 1939. Film production was interrupted by the war, and restarted in 1946, when the studio assumed its current name. In Soviet times, the studio was dubbed Partizanfilm, due to the large output of films portraying the Soviet partisan's struggle against Nazi occupation. The studio was however also renowned for its children's films.

The National Library of Belarus (Belarusian: Нацыянальная бібліятэка Беларусі, Russian: Национальная библиотека Беларуси), founded on 15 September 1922, is a copyright library of the Republic of Belarus. It houses the largest collection of Belarusian printed materials and the third largest collection of books in Russian behind the Russian State Library (Moscow) and the Russian National Library (St Petersburg). It is now located in a new 72-metre (236 feet) high building in Minsk, Belarus.
Chelyuskinites Park
Chelyuskinites Park is an urban forest park in Minsk, Belarus. The park's area is 78 hectares. The park contains an amusement park. Other attractions include a Children's Railroad, operated exclusively by teenagers, and a cinema Raduga. There is a Minsk Metro station "Park Chalyuskintsau" next to the park. The park is adjacent to the Minsk Botanical Garden. The park was established during 1928-1932 as Kamaroúski Park and was renamed in 1934 for the crew of the SS Chelyuskin.
Borisovsky Trakt (Minsk Metro)
Borisovsky Trakt is a Minsk Metro station on the Moskovskaya Line. Opened on November 7, 2007 the station's name is derived from the Borisov Highway which leads to a city that is northeast of Minsk. The station will be a standard single level pillar-bispan with hi-tech aestatic design of white and red colours. Station exits will lead to the Belarusian National Technical University and East (Moskovskoye) cemetery.
Uruchcha (Minsk Metro)
Uruchcha is a Minsk Metro station, that is the terminus of the Moskovskaya Line. Opened on November 7, 2007 it is the first station outside the Minsk Automobile Ring Road. The station is of shallow depth, in a pillar by-span design. As with all the recently built metro stations in Minsk, it has provisions for the disabled.
Uschod (Minsk Metro)
Uschod is a Minsk Metro station. Opened on December 30, 1986. The station's name not only implies its geographical location, as it was the easternmost station of Minsk metro for more than 20 years, but also its connotation with the Vostok space programme that ultimately led to the first manned spaceflight. The station's architectural ensemble (Ye. Leonovich, V. Matelsky) is based on the latter, and consists of a single vault shape with suspended canopy that forms a single element.
Tarpeda Stadium
Torpedo Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Minsk, Belarus. It is currently used mostly for football matches and was the home ground of Torpedo Minsk. The stadium holds 5,200 people, 4,820 (seats).

Chizhovka-Arena
Chyzhouka-Arena is a multi-use indoor arena in Minsk, Belarus that will start construction in July 2009. It will be used mostly for concerts, ice hockey and other indoor sporting events. The arena will have a capacity of ~8,500 people. It is listed as one of two main venues for the 2014 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships. The project of Chizhovka-Arena was changed several times. The final project was approved at July, 2010. Chizhovka-Arena is not built yet.
