Suhrawardy Udyan
Suhrawardy Udyan formerly known as Ramna Race Course ground is a national memorial located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is named after Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy. Originally it served as the military club of the British soldiers stationed in Dhaka. It was then called the Ramna Race Course and later Ramna Gymkhana. After the end of colonial rule, the place - sometimes referred to as Dhaka Race Course - was used for legal horse racing on Sundays.

Bangabandhu National Stadium, (Bengali: বঙ্গবন্ধু জাতীয় স্টেডিয়াম) also known as Dhaka Stadium, and formerly known as Dacca Stadium is the national stadium and a multipurpose sports arena in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is located in the Motijheel area in the heart of the city. Its current name was given to honour Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation, also known as "Banga bandhu" or "Friend of Bengal".
Aparajeyo Bangla
Aparajeyo Bangla is one of the most well known sculptures dedicated to the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. It is located in the campus of Dhaka University, just in front to the Arts Building. In Bengali, the phrase means "Unvanquished Bengal". Imitating on Sculptor Abdullah khaled’s design and superintendence of Dackshu Authority at the end of 1973 the sculpture work was started. The dainak bangle news reporter Shaleah Chowdhury came to visit the sculpture.

Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation for Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders
BIRDEM, the Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation for Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders at Shahbag, Dhaka, Bangladesh is a 600-bed multidisciplinary hospital complex of the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh. It has been designated as a WHO Collaborating Centre on Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders, as the only on of its kind in Asia. The late national professor Muhammad Ibrahim is its founder. Associated with the hospital is the Ibrahim Medical College.
Udayan Higher Secondary School
Udayan Higher Secondary School Dhaka, formerly known as Udayan Bidyalaya is a private higher secondary school in Bangladesh, established in 1955 by the University of Dhaka. It is a co-educational institution and currently one of the most reputed schools in Dhaka. The school was first allotted a small piece of land and two sheds. With the increase in the number of students it was upgraded to a secondary school and, after independence of Bangladesh, as a higher secondary one.
Nilkhet
Nilkhet is a neighbourhood in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. It is sandwiched between Dhaka University to the east, Mirpur Road and New Market to the west, and Elephant Road to the north. The name Nilkhet implies that the area may have been used for indigo cultivation in earlier times. However, Nilkhet has a completely different identity today. The market has long been the centre of the second-hand book trade in Dhaka.

Shahbag is a major neighbourhood and a police precinct or Thana in Dhaka, the capital and largest city of Bangladesh. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (Bengali: বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is the first and only medical university in Bangladesh. It is a public university, established in 1999. The university offers MD, PhD, MS, MPhil, MDS, Diploma and FCPS Courses. The vice chancellor is Prof. Pran Gopal Datta.

Shishu Park
Shishu Park (Bengali: ঢাকা শিশু পার্ক) is the only public sector children's amusement park in Shahbag, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established in 1979 on 15-acre of land, it is the first children's amusement park in Bangladesh. Established as a profit making venture by Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, the government-owned tourism promotion agency in Bangladesh, it is maintained by Dhaka City Corporation as its only entertainment park since 1983.

Gurdwara Nanak Shahi
Gurdwara Nanak Shahi is a Sikh Gurdwara at Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is located at the campus of the University of Dhaka and considered to be the biggest of 9 to 10 Gurdwaras in the country. According to the commemorating the visit of Guru Nanak (1506-1507), it is the most important historic place. It is said to have been built in 1830. The present building of the Gurdwara was renovated in 1988-1989. The parkarma verandah had been constructed on all four sides of the original building to protect.
Nazrul Islam Hall buet
Nazrul Islam Hall is one of oldest building at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology that serve as dormitories. Located at Polashi Dhaka-1000, the building has four floors and a capacity of 250 students. Living quarters are mostly three person suites, and a few private doubles. The ground floor consists of a study lounge that provides an impressive view of BUET . The dining hall of Nazrul Islam Hall serves students who reside in this hall.

National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation
The National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) is an orthopedic hospital as well as undergraduate & post-graduate institute, situated at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is established in 1972 after liberation war of Bangladesh. It's also the first ever rehabilitation institute in Dhaka. The government set up the institute to spread medical knowledge and to make more efficient doctors for the country.
Dhaka University Film Society
Dhaka University Film Society also known as DUFS is a voluntary students' organization of the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh. Originally Formed in 1962, the society worked strongly for several years before lapsing, to be revived in 1991.
2013 Shahbag protests
The 2013 Shahbag protests, associated with the Shahbag neighborhood of Dhaka, Bangladesh, began on February 5, 2013, and later spread to other parts of Bangladesh, demanding capital punishment for Abdul Quader Mollah and others convicted of crimes against humanity during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. On that day, the International Crimes Tribunal had sentenced Abdul Quader Mollah to life in prison after he was convicted on five of six counts of war crimes.
