Chittagong
Chittagong (Bengali: চাটগাও,Chatgaon, চট্টগ্রাম, Chôţţogram) is the main seaport and second largest city in Bangladesh. Located in southeastern Bangladesh, it straddles the hills at the mouth of the Karnaphuli River and is bounded by the Bay of Bengal to the west. The city has an estimated population of over 6.5 million people and is the administrative capital of Chittagong Division. An ancient and historic gateway to Bengal, Chittagong was a major port on the silk route.
Karnaphuli River
Karnaphuli (Bengali: কর্ণফুলি Kôrnophuli; also spelt Karnafuli), the largest and most important river in Chittagong and the Chittagong Hill Tracts, is a 667 metres -wide river in the south-eastern part of Bangladesh. Originating from the Lushai hills in Mizoram, India, it flows 270 km southwest through Chittagong Hill Tracts and Chittagong into the Bay of Bengal. A large hydroelectric power plant using Karnaphuli river was built in the Kaptai region during the 1960s.
Chittagong College
Chittagong College is a college in Bangladesh. It is the second college established in Bangladesh after Dhaka College. Having begun as Chittagong District school in 1836, it became an intermediate college in 1869. It started providing science education in intermediate section from the 1909 and became a graduation college in 1910. The college teaches honors and masters degree in 16 subjects. It is continuing its intermediate course.

Shah Amanat International Airport, named after an Islamic saint, is an international airport serving Bangladesh's southeastern port city of Chittagong and the Bangladesh Air Force. It is Bangladesh's second largest airport. It was formerly known as MA Hannan International Airport but was renamed on 2 April 2005 by the government of Bangladesh. The move was controversial since the previous name honored a member of the Awami League who were the opposition party at the time.

Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium
Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (Bengali: জহুর আহমেদ চৌধুরী স্টেডিয়াম), previously known as Bir Shrestha Shahid Ruhul Amin Stadium, is a cricket stadium located in the port city of Chittagong, in south-eastern Bangladesh. It became a Test cricket venue on February 27, 2006 when it hosted a Test match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. It hosted two group matches during the 2011 Cricket World Cup. It has seating capacity of around 20,000.
Government Hazi Mohammad Mohshin College
Government Hazi Mohammad Mohshin College (Bengali: সরকারী হাজী মুহাম্মদ মহসীন কলেজ) is a renowned government college in Chittagong, Bangladesh and one of the oldest colleges in Bangladesh. The college is named after Muhammad Mohsin, the 19th century philanthropist. It is located in College Road, beside Chittagong Government High School and opposite to Chittagong College.
MA Aziz Stadium
MA Aziz Stadium (Bengali: এম এ আজিজ স্টেডিয়াম; also known as Chittagong Stadium) is a multipurpose stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The local cricket and football teams play there. Its total capacity is 20,000. On a historical note, this stadium was used as headquarters during the war for independence in 1971. The main cricket venue of the port city has been shifted to the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
Foy's Lake
Foy's Lake is a man-made lake in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It was created in 1924 by constructing a dam across the stream that came down from the hills in the northern part of Chittagong. The purpose of creating an artificial lake was to provide water to the residence of railway colony. It was named after Mr Foy who was a Railway engineer and believed to materialized the project. Pahartali was basically a railway town with workshop, yard and shed. A good number of railway employees lives there.

Chandanpura Masjid

It is famous landmark in Chittagong and a popular tourist attraction for its impressive architecture consisting of multiple domes and minarets painted in bright colors. Although it was renovated in 1952, the mosque has deteriorated over the years due to environmental factors, such as air pollution.

Badarkhali
Badarkhali (বদরখালী) is a village in southeastern Bangladesh and a Union Parishad. Built on the banks of the Moheshkhali Channel, and has a population of over 25,000 thousand. It is located 110 km south of Chittagong and in Cox's Bazar District. The modern Badarkhali derives its name from Badar Shah. In 1340 Badar Shah and the twelve Awlias defeated King Achak Narayan of Taraf and established Muslim rule there.
