2004 Bahrain Grand Prix
The 2004 Bahrain Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on April 4, 2004 at the Bahrain International Circuit. It was the first Formula One race to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Middle East. The race, contested over 57 laps, was the third round of the 2004 Formula One season. The race was won by Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher.
Bahrain International Circuit
The Bahrain International Circuit is a motorsport venue opened in 2004 and used for drag racing, GP2 and the annual Bahrain Grand Prix. The 2004 Grand Prix was the first held in the Middle East. Beginning in 2006, Australian V8 Supercars raced at the BIC, with the event known as the Desert 400. However, the V8 Supercars did not return for the 2011 V8 Supercar season. 24 Hour endurance races also hosted at BIC.

The 2005 Bahrain Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on 3 April, 2005 at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain. The race, contested over 57 laps, was the third round of the 2005 Formula One season and the second running of the Bahrain Grand Prix, since its inception the year before. The race was won by polesitter and championship leader Fernando Alonso for the Renault team.
Zallaq
Al Zallaq is a village on the western coast of Bahrain. Al Zallaq was the home to the Al-Dawasir,AL-Zeabi and Algahtam tribe in Bahrain together with Al-Budayyi'and Juzur Hawar. It is famous for the Al Jazaer Beach (also known as Al Zallaq Beach). The Al Areen Wildlife Park is also near the Al Jazaer Beach in Zallaq. The village has many fishing boats.

The race, contested over 57 laps, was the opening round of the 2006 Formula One season and the third running of the Bahrain Grand Prix. It was won by the 2005 World Champions, Fernando Alonso and the Renault team.
Al-Sakhir Palace
Al-Sakhir Palace, also known as Sakhir Palace, is a palace in the Sakhir desert region of western Bahrain. The palace lies off the Zallaq Highway, northeast of the Bahrain International Circuit, the town of Zallaq and the Gulf University. It lies southwest of Sadad, Shahrakan and Dar Kulaib, the nearest town to the palace.

It is situated to the south of Malkiya and to the west of Hamad Town, in the Northern Governorate administrative region of the country. During the Bahrain uprising, the village was a hotspot for clashes between police and anti−government protesters.
