Kufstein Fortress
The Kufstein Fortress is the main landmark of Kufstein, a city of Tyrol in Austria. It is sometimes wrongly referred to as Geroldseck Fortress. It is located on a hill commanding Kufstein proper.
Thiersee Lake
The Thiersee Lake lies in the center of Vorderthiersee in the valley with the same name on a height of 616 m. It is surrounded by mountains forming a kettle. The lake can be reached by car or by local bus from Kufstein via the valley. The Lake can be used for bathing and possesses an excellent water quality of Grade A. Several possibilities like boat trips, swimming, Beach volley and others are given. The best conditions are in June because in Summer the water can warm up to 24°C.

The Stripsenjoch is a small mountain pass in Austria with a height of 1,577 m AA, which forms a bridge between the mountain ridges of the Zahmer Kaiser and the Wilder Kaiser, the two halves of the Kaisergebirge. In addition it marks the watershed between the Kaisertal in the west and the Kaiserbach valley in the east. It derives its name from the neighbouring peak of the Stripsenkopf (1807 m).

Ellmauer Tor
The Ellmauer Tor is a 2,000-metre high rock saddle in the middle of the Kaisergebirge in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is the deepest saddle on the main ridge of the Wilder Kaiser between the Ostkaiser's Ackerlspitze in the East Kaiser and the Ellmauer Halt in the Central Kaiser mountains. Because there is a well-used route acroos the Ellmauer Tor with its unique setting, it is often referred to as the "heart of the Kaiser".

Tischofer Cave
The Tischofer Cave is a cave in the Kaisertal valley in the Kaisergebirge mountains in Austria. It was important locally as a gathering place and weapons cache for local rebels during the Napoleonic Wars. The roughly 40 m long cave, which is about 8.5 m high at the entrance, was used during the Stone Age by bears and other predators as shelter, as evinced by the excavated remains of bones.

Opened in 1876, it is an Austrian-German border station, close to the border between Tyrol and Bavaria. The station forms part of the Lower Inn Valley railway, and is also a terminus of the Rosenheim–Kufstein railway. It is owned and operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).

Inn Glacier
The Inn Glacier, also called the Inn Valley Glacier (Inntal-Gletscher). was the ice age glacier of the Alpine river, the Inn. Originating in the Swiss Upper and Lower Engadine, it flowed through the state of Tyrol in Austria (occupying the present day Inn Valley). On German territory it pushed its ice front far into the Bavarian Alpine Foreland. The Inn Glacier attained its greatest thickness and extent during the Riss glaciation.
