Graz University of Technology
The Graz University of Technology (German: Technische Universität Graz, short TU Graz) is the second largest university in Styria, Austria, after the University of Graz. Austria has three universities of technology – in Graz, in Leoben, and in Vienna. The Graz University of Technology was founded in 1811 by Archduke John of Austria. TUG, as the university is called by its students, is a public university. In the academic year 2010/11, 11,681 students were enrolled at the TUG.
Murinsel
The Murinsel (German, literally Mur island) in Graz, Austria, is actually not an island at all, but an artificial floating platform in the middle of the Mur river. This landmark of Graz was designed by New York artist Vito Acconci on the occasion of Graz becoming the 2003 European Capital of Culture. The building in the form of a giant sea shell measures 50m in length and 20m in width. Two footbridges connect it with both banks of the Mur. The center of the platform forms an amphitheatre.

Dobl Transmitter
Dobl Transmitter is a facility for medium wave broadcasting at Dobl, Steiermark, Austria, built in 1942. It uses as antenna a 156-metre (511 ft) high guyed mast of lattice steel, which is guyed in two levels at 113 and 73 metres (371 and 240 ft). Dobl Transmitter was shut down in 1984 and is now a technical museum.

Talerhof
Talerhof was a concentration camp created by the Austro-Hungarian authorities of Franz Joseph I of Austria in the first days of World War I, in a sandy valley in foothills of the Alps, near Graz, the main city of the province of Styria. Austro-Hungarian authorities imprisoned Ukrainian Russophiles, as well as other Ukrainians and Lemkos from Galicia and Bukovina.

Graz Reininghaus
The grounds of the former Reininghaus brewery, covering 50 hectares, represent the largest undeveloped area near the center of Graz, Austria’s second largest city. They are southwest of the main train station in the district called Eggenberg, 2 kilometers away from Graz’s well-known clocktower. The area includes fields, ponds and in part landmarked industrial architecture from the former brewery.
Innere Stadt (Graz)
Innere Stadt is the first district of the Austrian city of Graz, capital of the federal state of Styria. It is the part of the Old Town containing the Schloßberg and the city park (Stadtpark). The district borders are formed by the Mur river between Radetzkybrücke and Keplerbrücke, the Wickenburggasse, the Glacis, Jakominiplatz and the Radetzkystraße. The Universalmuseum Joanneum is a multidisciplinary museum in Styria, Austria. It has galleries and collections in many subject areas including archaeology, geology, palaeontology, mineralogy, botany, zoology, history, art and folk culture. It is the oldest museum in Austria as well as the largest universal museum in central Europe with over 4.5 million objects in 13 departments and 12 locations in the Styrian cities of Graz, Stainz, Trautenfels, and Wagna.
Jakomini
Jakomini is the 6th district of Austrian city of Graz. It is named after Kaspar Andreas Ritter von Jacomini and covers an area of 4,06 square kilometers. With a population of 30.401 in 2011 it is the most populous of the districts of Graz. The postal codes of Jakomini are 8010, 8041 and 8042.

The Landeszeughaus, also known as the Styrian Armory, in Graz, Austria, is the largest existing original armoury in the whole world and attracts visitors from all over the world. It holds approximately 32,000 pieces of weaponry, tools, suits of armour for battle and ones for parades.

Graz-Karlau Prison is located in the city of Graz in the Austrian state of Styria. With a capacity of 552 inmates, Graz-Karlau is the third largest prison in Austria.
Stadthalle Graz
Stadthalle Graz is the biggest arrangement hall in Graz, Austria. It was built between April 2000 and in the beginning of 2002. Stadthalle Graz which is pursued by fair Congress Betriebsgmbh stands on the place of the former hall 1 of the Grazer fair. Between 1998 and 1999 the architecture competition was carried out for the town hall. Architect Klaus Kada received in December 1999 the surcharge for it. On maximum 14,000 ms ² expandable hall exists of upper floor and first floor.

It serves as a major node at the Southern Railway (towards Vienna and Slovenia) and as terminus for the Styrian Eastern Railway (to Hungary), the Köflacherbahn as well as the future Koralm Railway (towards Italy).
Wetzelsdorf
Wetzelsdorf is the 15th city district of Graz, Austria. It is located in the west part of the city between the districts of Eggenberg to the north and Straßgang to the south. About 14,100 people live there in an area of 5.77 km². The district which originally belonged to Eggenberg developed along the Austrian Southern Railway and the Alten Poststraße as a commercial area with working class quarters.

Graz Cathedral
'Graz Cathedral, locally called Grazer Dom, is a church in the Austrian city of Graz, dedicated to Saint Giles. It is the seat of the bishop of the Steiermark diocese, called the Diocese of Graz-Seckau. The church was built in 1438-62 by Friederick III in the Gothic architecture. Nearby is Mausoleum of Emperor Ferdinand II.
