University of Salzburg
The University of Salzburg, or Paris Lodron University after its founder, the Prince Archbishop Paris Lodron, is located in the Austrian city of Salzburg, Salzburgerland, home of Mozart. It is divided into 4 faculties: catholic theology, law, humanities and natural science. Founded in 1622, it today has c. 18,000 students and c. 1,600 employees. It is the biggest educational institution in the province of Salzburg.
Gaisberg Transmitter
Gaisberg Transmitter is a facility for FM and TV-transmission on the Gaisberg mountain near Salzburg, Austria. It was the first large transmitter in Austria finished after the war and started its work on 22 August 1956. It used a 73 metre high lattice tower and broadcast Austria's first radio station on 99.0MHz and third radio station on 94.8 MHz, each with 50 kW, as well as a TV station on channel 8 with 60/12 kW (picture/sound).

Hellbrunn Palace
Hellbrunn Palace is an early Baroque villa of palatial size, near Morzg, a southern district of the city of Salzburg, Austria. It was built in 1613-19 by Markus Sittikus von Hohenems, Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg, and named for the "clear spring" that supplied it. Hellbrunn was only meant for use as a day residence in summer, as the Archbishop usually returned to Salzburg in the evening, therefore, there is no bedroom in Hellbrunn.

Arenberg Castle, Salzburg
The Arenberg Castle (Schloss Arenberg or Schloss Bürglstein) is a castle on the right bank of the river Salzach in Salzburg. The castle was first documented in the 14th century and belonged to the lords of Keutzl, the lords of Pirglstein and later the lords of Rehling until the 16th century. In the 17th century, the castle was purchased by Archbishop Johann Ernst von Thun, but in 1695 it became a nunnery of the Ursuline Sisters.

Petersfriedhof
The Petersfriedhof or St. Peter's Cemetery is - together with the burial site at Nonnberg Abbey - the oldest cemetery in the Austrian city of Salzburg, located at the foot of the Festungsberg with Hohensalzburg Castle. It is one of Salzburg's most popular tourist attractions. Closed down in 1878, the site decayed, until in 1930 the monks of St. Peter's successfully urged for the admission of new burials.

Reisszug
The Reisszug (also spelt Reißzug or Reiszug) is a private funicular railway providing goods access to the Hohensalzburg Castle at Salzburg in Austria. It is notable for its extreme age, as it is believed to date back to either 1495 or 1504. The Reisszug should not be confused with the Festungsbahn, a funicular that provides public access to the Hohensalzburg Castle, and which dates from 1892.

The Festungsbahn is a funicular railway providing public access to the Hohensalzburg Castle at Salzburg in Austria. It links the castle with Festungsgasse, under the north side of the castle walls. The Festungsbahn opened in 1892, and should not be confused with the much older Reisszug funicular that provides goods access to the castle.

Kleines Theater (Salzburg)
Kleines Theater is a small theatre in Salzburg, Austria, dedicated to "Kleinkunst". The theatre was founded in 1984 as "Das Kleine Theater Schallmoos", headed by Claus Tröger. The theatre, located on Hauptstrasse 50, at the foot of the Kapuzinerberg hill can accommodate up to 150 (some sources say 180) people. A second venue called Theater Metropolis was built but had to be closed after a bankruptcy in 1999. Ferdinand L. Jansky took over in 2000 with a volunteer leadership of the theatre.
