Mandurah
Mandurah is the second-largest city in Western Australia and is located approximately 72 kilometres south of the state capital, Perth. The city attracts a large number of tourists, including many international visitors. The city centre foreshore is home to a variety of wildlife including dolphins, pelicans, shags, and an abundance of marine life including the blue manna crab which has become synonymous with the area.

It is bordered by the City of Rockingham to the north, Shire of Murray to the east (the border being for the most part the Harvey Estuary and Serpentine River), and Shire of Waroona to the south.

Comet Bay College
Comet Bay College is in Secret Harbour, Western Australia. It opened at the start of the 2006 school year at the premises now occupied by Comet Bay Primary School, but moved to its present location south of the primary school in 2007. The college was initially a junior high school accommodating years 8 to 10, but in November 2007 it was announced by the Minister for Education that years 11 and 12 would be accommodated in 2008 and 2009 respectively.
