Emerald is a town and semi-rural locality in the Greater Melbourne area, Victoria, Australia, 44 km south-east from Melbourne's central business district, outside the urban area. Its local government areas are the Shires of Cardinia and Yarra Ranges. At the 2011 Census, Emerald had a population of 5,813. Emerald also includes Cardinia Reservoir, Melbourne's second largest reservoir.

Menzies Creek is a township in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 42 km south-east of Melbourne's central business district. Its local government area is the Shire of Yarra Ranges. At the 2011 Census, Menzies Creek had a population of 911. Menzies' Creek Post Office opened on 2 May 1887 and closed in 1980. Menzies Creek railway station opened on 18 December 1900 with the opening of the Gembrook line.
Menzies Creek railway station
Menzies Creek Station was opened with the line on 18 December 1900. It was named after an early settler Mr. John Menzies. On 5 December 1904 it was renamed Aura, after the estate of the Shire President. The station reverted to its previous name on 4 July 1947. Throughout this period, the Post Office kept the name of the town as Menzies Creek which it remains to this day. When the station was operating under the V.R. it had a loop siding, a standard portable station building, and a goods shed.
Clematis railway station
Clematis Station is situated on the Puffing Billy Railway. It was opened on the 10th March 1902 as Paradise Valley. The name was shortened to Paradise in 1908 and renamed Clematis in 1921. Trains rarely stop here, except by prior arrangement, often for groups travelling to the Paradise Hotel (behind the station). Clematis contains a small loop siding with a dead end spur, which are Staff operated.
Emerald railway station
Emerald Station is situated on the Puffing Billy Railway. It was opened with the Railway on 18 December 1900 and comprised a platform track and a loop siding. A passing loop was added between the two a few years later. There was also a spur siding off the Down end of No. 3 Road. Two standard 12 ft by 20 ft timber portable station buildings with a Van Goods Shed between (all adjoining) were provided on the platform and a Goods Shed on the No. 3 Road loop siding.
Spring Vale Cemetery railway station
Spring Vale Cemetery station was a railway station in Melbourne, Australia, serving the Springvale Cemetery. It had its own branch line, which split from the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines at Springvale station. It was opened on 7 February 1904, to transport coffins, passengers and staff to the cemetery, and closed during 1952, at a time when many small branch lines were being closed by Victorian Railways.
