University of Tasmania
The University of Tasmania (UTAS) is a medium-sized public Australian university based in Tasmania, Australia. Officially founded on 1 January 1890, it was the fourth university to be established in nineteenth-century Australia. UTAS is a sandstone university and is a member of the international Association of Commonwealth Universities. UTAS offers various undergraduate and graduate programs in a range of disciplines.
Queens Domain
The Queens Domain, also known as The Domain to locals, is a small hilly area of bushland just north-east of the CBD of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, alongside the Derwent River. It is traditionally land that "belongs to the people", as commissioned by the Governor in 1860. On the side of the hill facing the river sits Government House, one of the finest in the Commonwealth of Nations, and the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Nearby was the original location of the now closed Hobart Zoo.

Edge Radio is a community radio station situated in the Australian city of Hobart. It is a youth oriented station, with most of its presenters under the age of thirty. Edge Radio focuses on local music, running a Tasmanian music show weekly. The studio is located in the University of Tasmania's Hobart campus. It also broadcasts some of the best of Australian music and is known for being on the forefront of presenting new Tasmanian and Australian music to audiences.
Cascade Brewery
Cascade Brewery is the oldest continually operating brewery in Australia. It is based in South Hobart, Tasmania. The Cascade estate (originally a saw milling operation) was founded beside the clean water of the Hobart Rivulet in 1824 by Peter Degraves, an entrepreneur who emigrated from England. In 1826 charges were laid against Degraves for debt and he was taken into custody until 1831. In 1832 Peter Degraves built a Brewery on his property. It is now owned by Foster's Group.
St. John Fisher College (University of Tasmania)
St John Fisher College at the University of Tasmania was established in 1963 and built by the Catholic Church and its community. The college was named after 16th century scholar St John Fisher and provides accommodation for around 100 students. It is located in Sandy Bay, Tasmania, Australia, on campus at the University of Tasmania. The smallest of the three residential colleges at the University of Tasmania.
Cascades Female Factory
The Cascades Female Factory, a former Australian workhouse for female convicts in the penal colony of Van Diemen's Land, is located in Hobart, Tasmania. Operational between 1828 and 1856, the factory is now one of the 11 sites that collectively comprise the Australian Convict Sites, listed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO.

Macquarie Street is one of the main streets of the central business district of the city of Hobart, capital of Tasmania, Australia. It is part of the A6, technically making it part of the Huon Highway. It also forms a One-way couplet with Davey Street in the opposite direction. Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hobart
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hobart is a Latin rite metropolitan archdiocese of the Catholic Church in Australia located in Hobart and covering Tasmania, Australia. Immediately subject to the Holy See, the area covered was initially administered by the Vicariate Apostolic of New Holland and Van Diemen’s Land. In 1842, the Vicariate Apostolic of Hobart was erected; elevated as a Diocese a few weeks later; and as an Archdiocese in 1888.
St David's Cathedral, Hobart
The Cathedral Church of St David in Hobart is the principal Anglican church in Tasmania. The dean (as of March 2009) is the Very Reverend Richard Humphrey. Consecrated in 1874, St David's is the Bishop of Tasmania's principal place of teaching. It is a cathedral because it is the place where the bishop's cathedra or seat is placed. It is also the venue for great occasions of diocese, city and state.
7HO FM
7HO FM is one of 3 commercial radio stations in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. It commenced broadcasting on 13 August 1930, as the first commercial radio station in its city, broadcasting under the callsign of 7HO. The station's initial frequency was 890 kHz AM, in 1935 moving to 860 kHz, then in 1978 to 864 kHz. On 1 November 1990, 7HO converted to the FM band - 101.7 MHz. The official call-sign was changed to 7HHO but the station identified on-air as Mix 101 HOFM.
Jane Franklin Hall
Jane Franklin Hall in South Hobart, Tasmania, is a non-denominational residential college of the University of Tasmania. Familiarly referred to as ‘Jane’, it was founded by the Tasmanian Council of Churches in 1950 as a residential college for women before becoming co-educational in 1973. Jane is a non-denominational Christian institution unobtrusively supported by chaplains of various Christian faiths.
Tolmans Hill, Tasmania
Tolmans Hill is a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. It is likely to be the last large scale greenfield suburban development to take place within Hobart city. At the 2011 Australian Census the suburb recorded a population of 490. There was much controversy when the Tolmans Hill development was first announced as planning permits were not widely made available to the public.

Mount Stuart, Tasmania
Mount Stuart is a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania. It is a relatively hilly suburb, similar to the adjoining West Hobart. Mount Stuart lies on a ridge that extends from a foothill of Mount Wellington, known as Knocklofty. A predominantly residential suburb, there was only one shop in the area, located at the end of Elphinstone Road, but has since closed. There is currently a hairdresser at the top of Elphinstone Road The main school in the suburb is Mount Stuart Primary School, which opened in 1957.
Royal Hobart Regatta
The Royal Hobart Regatta began in 1838, is a series of aquatic competitions and displays held annually in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia and is Tasmania's oldest sporting event. The regatta runs for three days, ending on the second Monday in February, and dominates the whole river for the duration of the event. It was begun by the then Governor of Tasmania, Sir John Franklin. Franklin provided free food and beer for all of the spectators, and the tradition of free entry continues to this day.

Queen Alexandra Hospital, Hobart
The Queen Alexandra Hospital for Women was an Australian hospital established at Hobart, Tasmania in 1905 to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902 on a site in Hampden Road, Battery Point. The hospital was primarily designed to care for women who were pregnant, in need of natal and neonatal care, and as a training hospital for midwives and nurses.

Print Radio Tasmania (callsign 7RPH) is a radio station based in Hobart, Tasmania. It is a reading and information service for those persons unable to read or easily access information in print. The station is run and operated by volunteers. Programs broadcast range from live reading of local and national newspapers to magazine and serialised book readings. Print Radio Tasmania was the first RPH station to go on-air in Australia on 26 June 1982, originally broadcasting on 1620AM.
