Division of Makin
The Division of Makin is an electoral division for the Australian House of Representatives located in the northeastern suburbs of Adelaide. Established in 1984 and named after Norman Makin, a former MP and diplomat, it has been a marginal seat at most elections since. It includes the suburbs of Tea Tree Gully, Modbury, Salisbury Heights, Salisbury East and Para Hills. It is known as a mortgage belt seat, with a large proportion of the population in the area paying off home loans.

The park is designed for recreational walking, and there are no visitor facilities. It is part of Yurrebilla, the Greater Mount Lofty Parklands, and is a significant reserve of bushland in the foothills of the Mount Lofty Ranges.

Little Para Reservoir
Little Para Reservoir is a reservoir in South Australia serving the city of Adelaide. It was built between 1974 and 1977, costing A$11.5 million, and commissioned in January 1979. The reservoir is built in the path of the Little Para River and is used for water storage and flood mitigation. As the Little Para's catchment is insufficient to fill the reservoir, it is mainly used to store water pumped from the River Murray.
