Division of Kingston
The Division of Kingston is an Australian Electoral Division in South Australia covering the far-south portion of the Adelaide metropolitan area. The division was first proclaimed in 1949. The division is named after Charles Cameron Kingston, a Premier of South Australia (1893-1899), elected to the first House of Representatives in 1901 and the first Federal member of the Division of Adelaide in 1903. The township was formed in 1923 from a merging of the two original villages of Gloucester and Bellevue, which were established in the 1840s by British pioneers. The name is said to have come from the 1840s, when Governor Gawler supposedly lost his compass near the site.

McLaren Vale is a closed railway station in Adelaide, South Australia. It was a ground level stopping place during the passenger transport days of this line and has been an unattended crossing station since 1957. The station yard was noted for its impressive avenue of giant pine trees. The stop is now disused, the entire Willunga railway line line having been dismantled in 1972.
Willunga railway station
Willunga is a closed railway station in Adelaide, South Australia. A station-master was appointed in 1915. A 60 feet turntable was installed during construction, but was removed to Marino in 1941-2. The triangle, later in use, was built around 1930. The one train per week freight service, introduced in 1963, is scheduled so that locomotives did not stable at Willunga overnight and consequently, tenders were called for demolition of the employee's barracks and other engine facilities.

It was a ground level stopping place during the passenger transport days of this line, and a 1965 reference mentioned that it was no longer used at that date. There was a smaller stop following this called 'Noarlunga Sand Siding' opened in 1928 for loading sand which closed in September 1950. A 1965 reference remarks that traces of the old siding could still be seen at that date on the curve before Pedlars Creek Road crossing.
