Innamincka, South Australia
Innamincka is a tiny settlement in north-east South Australia. It is 1065 km northeast of Adelaide and 459 km from Lyndhurst up the Strzelecki Track. It is situated on the banks of Cooper Creek in the state's Channel Country, and surrounded by the Strzelecki, Tirari and Sturt Stony Deserts. It is situated within Innamincka Regional Reserve. At the 2006 census, Innamincka had a population of 131.
Strzelecki Track
The Strzelecki Track is an outback track in South Australia, mostly unsealed but with a few short sealed sections to facilitate overtaking, linking Innamincka to Lyndhurst. It passes through the Strzelecki Desert. The 459 km track was pioneered by bushman Harry Redford in 1871 and is passable to conventional vehicles during the dry season, although caution is required.

Innamincka Station often just called Innamincka is a pastoral lease operating as a cattle station located about 4 kilometres north east of Innamincka and 246 kilometres south east of Birdsville in the state of South Australia, The station occupies an area of 13,552 square kilometres and is the second largest station in South Australia after Anna Creek station. Innamincka is currently owned by the pastoral company, S. Kidman & Co..
