Marble Hill, South Australia
Marble Hill was the Vice-Regal summer residence for the Governor of South Australia from 1880 to 1955. It is also the name of a ward of the Adelaide Hills Council, and a suburb, both named after the residence and in which the residence is located. It is about 20 km east of Adelaide between the towns of Ashton and Cherryville, and has expansive views of the Adelaide Hills to the North and East, and the Adelaide Plains to the West.

Kangaroo Creek Reservoir
Kangaroo Creek Reservoir is a 19,160 megalitre artificial water storage reservoir in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. It was built from 1966 to 1969, by damming the River Torrens east of Cudlee Creek. The stored water is used to maintain the Hope Valley Reservoir's level via discharge through the Torrens. Water is held back by a 131 metres long, 65 m high concrete clad, rock filled dam wall.
Gorge Road, South Australia
Gorge Road is a South Australian secondary road, connecting the Adelaide suburbs of Campbellltown and Athelstone with the towns of Cudlee Creek, Chain of Ponds, Kersbrook, Williamstown and Lyndoch. It is a secondary route, hence has been given the State Route designation of B31. Gorge Road is the name given only the southern and most notable section of the B31 route, from Campbelltown in Adelaide's north eastern suburbs to the Adelaide-Mannum Road near Chain of Ponds.
Cherryville, South Australia
Cherryville is a small town in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. It was named in around 1840 after the native cherry trees that grew in the area, although some historians claim that it was not named until 1892, when horticultural cherry plantings became widespread in the area. Prior to this, land holdings were typically of around 100 acres and used primarily for pastoralism or small-scale vegetable gardens. At the 2006 census, Cherryville had a population of 238.
Montacute, South Australia
Montacute is a small town and suburb in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. The town is located on Fifth Creek, and the mostly-rural suburb extends from Rostrevor in the west to Lenswood in the east, bounded on the north by Castambul and on the south by Norton Summit and Cherryville. The small town of Montacute Heights is located on top of the ridge between Fifth and Sixth Creeks. Copper was discovered in the area in 1843, and a mine was soon set up.
