Castle Hill, Queensland
Castle Hill is an isolated pink granite monolith standing in the heart of the north Queensland city of Townsville. It rises to a height of some 286 metres (938 ft) above sea level and dominates the city skyline. It is one of the most distinctive natural features on the Queensland coast. There are a number of vantage points from which to view the city below and also across Cleveland Bay to nearby Magnetic Island.

Townsville Grammar School

Established in 1888, it is the oldest co-educational school on the Australian mainland. It is the most northern member of the Grammar school system in Australia. During World War II the school was acquired by the Royal Australian Air Force for use as barracks accommodation for the No. 3 Fighter Sector RAAF.

Green Street bunker
The Green Street bunker at West End (Townsville), Queensland, Australia is also known as the Sidney Street bunker and Project 81. It was built by the Royal Australian Air Force during World War II. The erection of the Green Street bunker (Project 81) at the end of Sidney Street in West End was approved on 12 March 1942. The road up Castle Hill was closed to traffic on about 12 March 1942 to ensure the construction of military facilities such as this bunker were not obvious.

A reflection of attitudes existing during the time it was in use, research has established that it was ethnically segregated. Stable on the Strand
Stable on the Strand is an annual Christmas event in the Australian city of Townsville, described as "part installation, part fun fair and part theatrical performance". For five days before Christmas (18–22 December) each year, Townsville’s major ocean-front park, The Strand is transformed into the historic town of Bethlehem, complete with Roman soldiers, traditional craftspeople, livestock, shepherds and of course Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. The event attracts up to 40,000 visitors a year.
Bohle River
The Bohle River is a short river north of Townsville in Queensland, Australia. The Bohle river catchment is approximately 355 km², draining most of the coastal plain west of Townsville. Tributaries include Middle Creek, Stony Creek, Stag Creek and Garner Creek. The river supports recreational fishing, particularly of barramundi. The Bohle is less than 15 minutes from nearly anywhere in Townsville. Popular for river fishing, the Bohle River is also good for collecting bait.

The shopping centre was developed in 2006 and 2007 by Lancini Developments and is currently managed by Fenis Real Estate.
