Kingaroy
Kingaroy is an agricultural town in Queensland, Australia, approximately 210 kilometres or about 2½ hours drive north-west of the state capital Brisbane. The town is situated on the junction of the D'Aguilar and the Bunya Highways. At the 2006 census, Kingaroy had a population of 7,620, a significant increase from the 2001 census figure of 7,147.

The town is in the South Burnett Region LGA and on the Bunya Highway, 249 kilometres north west of the state capital, Brisbane. At the 2006 census, Tingoora had a population of 175. The town is named for the local Indigenous Australian word for wattle tree. The Tingoora Hotel, established in 1900, was reportedly the first public building in the town.

The town is in the South Burnett Region LGA and on the Bunya Highway, 243 kilometres north west of the state capital, Brisbane. At the 2006 census, Wooroolin had a population of 164. Immediately to the east of the town is the Wooroolin Wetland, which is classified as a ‘palustrine’ wetland - a non-tidal, inland, non-arid, seasonally flooded, vegetated swamp.
