Tamborine National Park
Tamborine is a national park in the Gold Coast hinterland of South East Queensland, Australia, 45 km south of Brisbane. It covers 11.60 km² on the plateau of Tamborine Mountain and around its foothills. The plateau is 8 km long, 5 km wide and rises to an altitude of 525 m. The elevation of the plateau keeps the temperature down a little in summer although December to April is also the wettest time to visit. Winter is drier but also cooler.
Jimboomba
Jimboomba is a growing town of approximately 6,288 people, as recorded in the 2006 census, in the Logan City local government area, South East Queensland, Australia. It is situated on the Mount Lindesay Highway, 47 km south of Brisbane central business district. It has a large number of services, including an auxiliary/rural fire brigade and permanent ambulance service, a police station, domestic shopping, hotel, medical-dental services and primary schools.
Division of Forde
The Division of Forde is an Australian Electoral Division in Queensland. The division was created in 1984 and is named for Frank Forde, who was briefly Prime Minister of Australia in 1945. When it was created it was a marginal seat in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, but it now has no territory in common with the original seat and is located in semi-rural areas south of the city, including Beenleigh, Beaudesert, Boonah and Loganlea.
Albert River (Queensland)
The Albert River is a river in South East Queensland, Australia. Its catchment lies within the Gold Coast and Beaudesert shires and covers an area of 782 square kilometres. The river provides drinking water for the town of Beaudesert. The river has two main tributaries which begin in the Lamington National Park. Downstream the river joins the Logan River 12 km from its mouth at Eagleby before entering Moreton Bay. The Albert River is a sub-catchment of Logan River.
Glow-Worm Caves Tamborine Mountain
Glow-Worm Caves Tamborine Mountain is a tourist attraction at Tamborine Mountain in South-East Queensland, Australia. The Glow Worm Caves is a purpose built cave, in which the local Queensland glow-worms Arachnocampa flava have been introduced. The caves are in a naturalistic style, with stalactites, stalagmites, and flowstone features (all man-made again).
County of Ward, Queensland
The County of Ward is a county located on the south-east corner of Queensland, Australia. Like all counties in Queensland, it is a non-functional administrative unit, that is used mainly for the purpose of registering land titles. Ward takes in the south-eastern corner of Queensland, and the main urbanised area within the county is the city of the Gold Coast. It also takes in the southern parts of the West Moreton region centred on Beaudesert and Boonah.

North Tamborine, Queensland
North Tamborine is a suburb on Tamborine Mountain in South East Queensland. Many early settlers grew maize and grazed dairy cattle. The first guesthouse on the mountain was open in 1889. A tourist road to the mountain was completed in 1924. The road brought visitors to the area and the North Tamborine village became the centre for social and business activities. A section of Tamborine National Park known as The Knoll protects forests found in the north of the suburb.

The Logan River passes through the middle of the suburb as does the disused railway from Bethania to Beaudesert and the Waterford-Tamborine Road.

Camp Cable
