Roadvale, Queensland
Roadvale is a small village located in the Fassifern Valley, south-east Queensland, Australia, 14 kilometres north of the principal town Boonah and 79 kilometres south-west of the capital Brisbane. At the 2006 census, Roadvale and the surrounding area had a population of 559. The railway reached Roadvale in 1887 and in 1915 most of the town was destroyed by fire. Despite rebuilding many businesses the town has never recovered from the devastating fire.

Rosewood is a small town in the Bremer Valley, Queensland, Australia. It is located 60 km west of the Brisbane CBD in the Ipswich City Council area and is the terminus of QR Citytrain's Rosewood railway line. Rosewood railway station provides Citytrain commuter rail services to Ipswich and Brisbane via Ipswich. At the 2006 census, Rosewood had a population of 1,966. The origin of the suburb name is from the Rosewood tree. The New Oakleigh Mine is located close to the town.

The name was used by James and Martha Collett for their residence in the 1850s as it was their hometown. Australia's biggest air force base, the RAAF Base Amberley is situated here and the Bureau of Meteorology has a weather observation station in Amberley. To the south of Amberley is the Fassifern Valley.
Fassifern Valley
Fassifern Valley is a valley of the Scenic Rim in South East Queensland. Towns found in the valley include Harrisville, Kalbar, Roadvale, Warril View and Aratula. Fassifern Valley is known as a carrot producing area, as well as for growing potatoes, onions, pumpkins and melons. The Cunningham Highway passes through the town of Aratula and along ridges in the upper valley towards Cunninghams Gap, Mount Mitchell and parts of Main Range National Park.

Queensland Raceway nicknamed "the paperclip" is a motor racing circuit located at Willowbank in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. The circuit plays host to V8 Supercars, the Australian Superbike Championship, drifting as well as club level racing and ride days. Queensland Raceway is 3.12 kilometres long and 12 metres wide, running clockwise. There are six corners.

Located near to RAAF Base Amberley and a coal mine, which gives favourable land zoning, leaving suburban encroachment to be less likely to close the circuit as has occurred to several other Australian circuits.
