Southern Moreton Bay Islands National Park
Southern Moreton Bay Islands is a national park in Queensland, Australia, 44 km southeast of Brisbane. It forms part of the Moreton Bay and Pumicestone Passage Important Bird Area, so identified by BirdLife International because it supports large numbers of migratory waders, or shorebirds.

Redland City
Redland City is a local government area of South East Queensland, spread along the southern coast of Moreton Bay covering 537.1 square kilometres . Between the cities of Brisbane to the north, Logan to the west, and the Gold Coast to the south, it is part of the fastest growing area in Queensland and one of the fastest growing in Australia. The City had an estimated population of 127,627 in 2006, four times the number of residents it had as a rural community 25 years earlier.
Russell Island (Moreton Bay)
Russell Island in Redland City is the biggest of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, sandwiched between the mainland and North Stradbroke Island in the state of Queensland, Australia. The island is eight kilometres long (north-to-south) and nearly three kilometres wide.

Peel Island
Peel Island is a small island located in Moreton Bay, east of Brisbane, Queensland, in Australia. During the mid-19th century Peel Island was used as a quarantine station for the colony of Brisbane. Sailing ships would anchor to the north of the Island, the passengers would disembark on Peel Island for a quarantine period before moving on to Dunwich on nearby North Stradbroke Island.
Victoria Point, Queensland
Victoria Point is a suburb located approximately 33 kilometres south-east of Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, Australia, in the Redland City local government area. It is primarily a residential area, but it also contains other public complexes and a ferry service to Coochiemudlo Island. As of 2006, Victoria Point was home to 13,755 people. The main point area has two boat ramps for boat entry to Moreton Bay and a Volunteer Marine Rescue unit.

Cleveland is a suburb located approximately 25 kilometres east-south-east of Brisbane, the capital of the Australian state of Queensland, and is the council seat for the Redland City local government area. It comprises commercial, residential and industrial areas. As at the 2011 Census, Cleveland was estimated to be home to 14,414 people, with the majority of these of working age.
Jumpinpin Channel
The Jumpinpin channel also known as The Pin lies between North Stradbroke Island and South Stradbroke Island. It has a fast moving tidal deep water Channel not appropriate for swimming but is popular with beach anglers. The word Jumpinpin is of Aboriginal origin. It is derived from the word 'oumpinin' which refers to the sweetened roots of the wynnum (breadfruit) tree which was feasted on when tribes met in the area.
Dunwich, Queensland
Dunwich is a small town on the western side of North Stradbroke Island in the Australian state of Queensland. The town is part of the Redland City local government area, based on the mainland in the Brisbane bayside suburb of Cleveland. Dunwich is one of three towns on North Stradbroke Island - the others being Amity Point and Point Lookout. At the 2006 census, Dunwich had a population of 804.

Coochiemudlo Island is located near Brisbane, in Queensland, Australia. Coochiemudlo Island is a small island in the southern part of Moreton Bay, Queensland. The island is approximately 1 km from Victoria Point in Redland Shire. Coochiemudlo is an anglicised version of the local aboriginal words for "Red Rock". A natural cliff composed of iron-rich rock is exposed on the south western side of the island Sandy beaches wrap around the island's southern, eastern and northern sides.
Arthur & Allan Morris field
The Arthur and Allan Morris field is currently the home ground for the Redlands City Devils (QLDSL) and Redlands United. The ground is situated at the cleveland showgrounds in the Redland shire. It has been voted one of the best fields in Queensland.
Mount Cotton Hillclimb
Mount Cotton Hillclimb is a permanent tarmac hillclimbing circuit at Mount Cotton, Queensland, Australia. It is owned and run by the MG Car Club of Queensland. Club events are run at intervals of around 4–6 weeks. The Queensland Hillclimb Championship is run there most years, and the Australian Hillclimb Championship is run there every few years.
Eprapah Creek
Eprapah Creek (Longitude 153.30º East, Latitude -27.567º South) is a sub-tropical stream located in Redland City close to Brisbane in South East Queensland, Australia. The creek flows directly to the Moreton Bay at Victoria Point. It is basically 12.6 km long with about 3.8 km of estuarine zone. In the latter, the water depth is typically about 1 to 2 m mid-stream, the width is about 20–30 m and the tides are semi-diurnal with a range of about 2 m.
