Kilkivan, Queensland
Kilkivan is a town in the South Burnett region of Queensland, Australia. The town is located on the Wide Bay Highway, 224 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane and 54 kilometres west of Gympie. At the 2006 census, Kilkivan had a population of 339. Kilkivan was first settled by Europeans in the 1840s. Queensland’s first gold discovery was at Kilkivan in 1852 and subsequent findings escalated into a gold rush in the 1860s.

The Shire of Kingaroy was a local government area in the South Burnett region of Queensland, Australia, about 100 kilometres northwest of the capital, Brisbane. The shire covered an area of 2,420.3 square kilometres, and existed as a local government entity from 1912 until 2008, when it amalgamated with several other councils in the South Burnett area to become the South Burnett Regional Council.

The shire covered an area of 3,263.4 square kilometres, and existed from 1886 until its merger with several other local government areas to form the Gympie Region on 15 March 2008.
County of Lennox
The County of Lennox is a county in Queensland, Australia. Like all counties in Queensland, it is a non-functional administrative unit, that is used mainly for the purpose of registering land titles. The county consists of the inland region forming the western parts of the Gympie and Fraser Coast regions. It was officially named and bounded by the Governor in Council on 7 March 1901 under the Land Act 1897.
