Moss Vale is a town in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, in the Wingecarribee Shire. It has a population of 7,792 and is sited on the Illawarra Highway, which connects to Wollongong and the Illawarra coast via Macquarie Pass. The town is colloquially known as Mossy. There are several CityRail and CountryLink services a day on the Southern Highlands railway line serving Moss Vale station.

Moss Vale Railway Station is a station and intermediate terminus of the Southern Highlands line of the CityRail intercity network, serving the town of Moss Vale, New South Wales, Australia. The station opened on 2 December 1867 as Sutton Forest, but was renamed as Moss Vale ten years later. It is served by the diesel railcars that use the Southern Highlands Line, but is also served by CountryLink services running between Sydney and Melbourne, Canberra and Griffith.

Bong Bong, New South Wales
Bong Bong was a small township in the Southern Highlands in New South Wales, Australia. It is also the name for the surrounding parish. The site was chosen by Governor Lachlan Macquarie in 1820 close to the ford on the Wingecarribee River. In 1821 it was laid out and there is an obelisk on the site stating "Site of Bong Bong Military Station and First Township Reserve on the Southern Highlands - surveyed 1821".

The Parish of Bong Bong is a parish of the County of Camden in the Southern Highlands region of New South Wales. Moss Vale is the largest town in the area. The parish includes the small township of Bong Bong, which was the first village established in the Southern Highlands. The Wingecarribee River forms part of the boundary of the parish in the north and north-east. The Hume Highway passes through a small part of the parish in the north-west.
Werai railway station
Werai was a railway station on the Main South railway line in New South Wales, Australia. It served the small Southern Highlands town of Werai. A station opened in the locality in 1883 as Meryla, this station was moved in 1897 and renamed Werai in 1901. Consisting of a pair of side platforms, it closed in 1969 and has been demolished, little trace now remains.
