Sydney Harbour Tunnel
The Sydney Harbour Tunnel is a twin-tube road tunnel in Sydney, Australia. The tunnel was completed and opened to traffic in August 1992 to provide a second vehicular crossing of Sydney Harbour to alleviate congestion on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The tunnel joins the Warringah Freeway at North Sydney, and the Cahill Expressway at the entrance to the Domain Tunnel.

The precinct and its immediate surroundings are administered independently of the local government area of the City of Sydney, by a New South Wales state government statutory authority, the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority.
Circular Quay railway station
Circular Quay is a CityRail station located in Sydney, Australia and is situated on the City Circle line. The station is elevated with the elevated Cahill Expressway roadway directly above it, and lies directly behind (to the south of) the Circular Quay ferry terminals from which services operate to a number of locations around Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour). To the south, the station faces Alfred Street, which is the terminus for a number of bus services.
Bennelong Point, New South Wales
Bennelong Point is the location of the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, New South Wales . It was called Tubowghule by the indigenous Eora peoples. The point was originally a small tidal island, Bennelong Island, that largely consisted of rocks with a small beach on the western side. The island was located on the tip of the eastern arm of Sydney Cove and was apparently separated from the mainland at high tide.

AMP Centre
AMP Centre is a Sydney skyscraper located at 50 Bridge Street, Sydney NSW Australia. It was built in 1976 and consists of 45 floors. It is used for commercial offices and made of concrete, glass and steel. The Centre's roof height is 188m, and it was the tallest building in Sydney until the MLC Centre was completed in 1977. Circular Quay ferry wharf
Circular Quay Ferry Wharf is the complex of the main commuter wharves in Circular Quay in Sydney, Australia. It is part of the Sydney Ferries network. It is the terminus for all public ferry routes in Sydney. The Circular Quay Wharf complex has a setup of five jetties, labelled Wharf 2 to Wharf 6. Wharf 1 is a minor wharf on the east side of Circular Quay used for tourist vessels. Wharf 6 is also used for tourist vessels and other private charters.

Bennelong Apartments
The Bennelong Apartments is a controversial residential apartment building in Sydney's Circular Quay. It was part of a development designed by Andrew Andersons and PTW Architects, known as Bennelong Apartments which was completed in 1998. The building is nicknamed "the toaster" due to its apparent resemblance to the kitchen appliance. In November 2007 an apartment in the building sold for $8.4 million.
1947 Sydney hailstorm
The 1947 Sydney hailstorm was a natural disaster which struck Sydney, Australia, on 1 January 1947. The storm cell developed on the morning of New Year's Day, a public holiday in Australia, over the Blue Mountains, hitting the city and dissipating east of Bondi in the mid-afternoon. At the time, it was the most severe to strike the city since recorded observations began in 1792. The high humidity, temperatures and weather patterns of Sydney increased the strength of the storm.
