City of Lake Macquarie
The City of Lake Macquarie is a local government area in the Hunter region of New South Wales, Australia. The area is situated adjacent to the city of Newcastle and was proclaimed as a city from 7 September 1984. The City is approximately 150 km north of Sydney. One of its major tourist attractions is its lake, also named Lake Macquarie. The Mayor of the City of Lake Macquarie Council is Cr. Jodie Harrison, a member of the Labor Party.

Teralba railway station
Teralba is a railway station located near Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia on the Newcastle & Central Coast Line. The station has two platforms. The station is served by intercity trains to Sydney and local trains to Morisset. Prior to rail electrification, Teralba station operated an island platform, the eastern side for coal transportation from the Pacific colliery, and some passenger services, to and from Newcastle.
Booragul railway station
Booragul railway station is a railway station located near Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia on the Main North railway line. The station opened in 1926, almost 40 years after the construction of this section of the Main North Line. The station has two platforms in an island configuration with lightweight passenger shelters. The original station buildings were extensively damaged in the 1989 Newcastle earthquake, resulting it their demolition and replacement with the current structures.
Fassifern railway station
Fassifern railway station is a railway station located in Fassifern, New South Wales, Australia in the Lake Macquarie area on the Newcastle & Central Coast Line. The station is a major point along the line (it's usually included in the stop-off stations of express trains), providing access to the line for a large part of the area. The station has three platforms, although only two are in use, the third being the former branch line platform for the now closed Toronto railway line.

There used to be a branch line between Fassifern Station and nearby Toronto, but this has been replaced by a bus service, aptly named "The Train".

Carey Bay is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia, and is located on a peninsula southeast of the town of Toronto on the western side of Lake Macquarie. The spelling "Cary Bay" was gazetted on 31 August 1973, but was gazetted and signed "Carey Bay" on 31 May 1991 when the boundaries were determined. In 2001, the Lake Macquarie City Council voted to use the latter name for the suburb.

Blackalls Park was a former railway station in the suburb of Blackalls Park, on the former Fassifern - Toronto branch line in New South Wales, Australia. The station was closed in 1990. The track and platform at the station is still largely intact, albeit overgrown.

The Toronto Railway Station was a former railway station (opened c1891 as a Private Tourist Tramway, Government Railways acquired in 1910) located in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Toronto, the terminus of the former Fassifern - Toronto branch line in New South Wales, Australia. The station closed on 11 March 1990. The line and station is still largely intact. The station building is an example of heritage re-use, now in use by the Lake Macquarie and District Historical Society.
