Albion Park, New South Wales
Albion Park is a suburb situated in the Macquarie Valley (Shellharbour) in the City of Shellharbour, which is in turn one of the three local government areas that comprise the Wollongong Metropolitan Area, New South Wales, Australia. Although it is surrounded by a 'green belt' of farms, Albion Park has a population of approximately 11,261 and continues to expand by a rate of 12.5% per year.
Minnamurra railway station
Minnamurra is a station on the CityRail South Coast line. Located between the Kiama Golf Club and the Minnamurra Public School, it serves the suburbs of Minnamurra and Kiama Downs. The station was opened on 23 December 1891, but was moved to its present site in 1943, opening on 10 October of that year. In 2001, the Illawarra line was electrified between Dapto and Kiama.
Jamberoo, New South Wales
Jamberoo is a small picturesque village approx 11 km inland from Kiama on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia in the Municipality of Kiama. At the 2006 census, Jamberoo had a population of 935 people. The town's name is derived from an aboriginal word meaning 'track'. It is well known for the Jamberoo Action Park (previously Jamberoo Recreation Park), Jamberoo Hotel (Pub) and the local dairy farming community. The Australian Illawarra Shorthorn cattle breed originated in here.
Albion Park Rail, New South Wales
Albion Park Rail is a suburb of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia situated in the Macquarie Valley (Shellharbour) in the local government area of Shellharbour. The South Coast railway line was opened to the railway station and Bombo in 1887. At the time the nearest town was Albion Park, several kilometres away. Over time, houses were built around the railway station, and Albion Park Rail developed into a town in its own right.
Dunmore railway station
Dunmore (Shellharbour) is a CityRail railway station on the South Coast railway line. It serves the suburb of Dunmore as well as being an indirect rail link to the suburb of Shellharbour. When the station was built, opening on 9 November 1887, Shellharbour was a long way from the railway line, but has since grown and now borders the line.
Oak Flats railway station
Oak Flats is a station on the Cityrail South Coast line in New South Wales. It serves the suburb of Oak Flats. It is located on the single track section of the South Coast line between Unanderra and Bomaderry and has a single side platform.
Gainsborough, New South Wales
Gainsborough, New South Wales, Australia is a residential estate forming part of the suburb of Kiama Downs in the Municipality of Kiama. This is a relatively new urban area bordering Kiama Downs and Jamberoo. A new section of the Princes Highway was opened to the west of Gainsborough in late 2005. The name Gainsborough is derived from the original estate name of the development which was based on painters names, you can find many artists names in the suburban streets of Gainsborough.

Municipality of Kiama
The Municipality of Kiama is a local government area in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. The area is situated south of Shellharbour and the City of Wollongong and is located adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, the Princes Highway and the South Coast railway line. The Municipality of Kiama includes Kiama and the localities of Bombo, Gerringong, Gerroa, Minnamurra and Jamberoo. In 1954, the Kiama Municipal Council absorbed the Gerringong Municipal District.

The Minnamurra River flows into the ocean at Minnamurra. There is a sandy beach and a sand spit at the river mouth. The name Minnamurra means plenty of fish in the local Aboriginal dialect.

Kiama Downs, New South Wales
Kiama Downs is a coastal suburb of the town Kiama in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. Renowned for its picturesque beach and beautiful seaside views, it is situated about 3 km north of Kiama and is bordered by the Minnamurra River to the northwest and Boyds Beach to the east. The western part of the suburb, west of Riverside Drive, is informally known as Gainsborough. Kiama Downs does not contain a school or a railway station.
Macquarie Rivulet
Macquarie Rivulet is a river in New South Wales which is 23 kilometres long. It rises near Robertson, New South Wales and drains the eastern edge of the Southern Highlands plateau and part of the Illawarra escarpment. It flows through Albion Park Rail, then goes into Lake Illawarra and indirectly into the Pacific Ocean. The towns of Tullimbar and Albion Park Rail, New South Wales are near the river.
Boyds Beach
Boyds Beach, commonly known as Jones Beach, forms the eastern border of Kiama Downs on the South Coast of New South Wales. It is a popular tourist spot and many surfing competitions are held there each year.
97.3 ABC Illawarra
97.3 ABC Illawarra is an ABC Local Radio station based in Wollongong and broadcasting to the Illawarra region in New South Wales. This includes the towns of Nowra, Shellharbour, Kiama, and Bowral. The station began as 2WN in 1959 originally broadcasting on the AM band. It now transmits on the main FM frequency of 97.3 mHz along with a low power FM repeater.

Knights Hill (New South Wales)
Knights Hill is a geographical feature that is part of the Illawarra Escarpment. It is located south of Albion Park. The feature comprises a 709 metre above sea level summit, and several other small hills, atop a plateau adjacent to the escarpment edge. Atop the plateau are TV antennae and a small farm. The name first appears in a map by Surveyor Hoddle, after whom a track west of Kiama is named. He surveyed the region in the 19th century.
Shellharbour Anglican College

It opened in 2004 and accommodates from kindergarten to year 12 in 2009. The college operates in new, mostly permanent buildings in a semi-rural setting off Shellharbour Road, Dunmore. The school is located on the outskirts of Shellharbour City, New South Wales, Australia.

Foxground, New South Wales
Foxground is a locality in the Municipality of Kiama, in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. It is located two kilometres from the Princes Highway, 10 kilometres south west of Kiama. Broughton Creek flows through the valley. The name Foxground is derived from the once abundant Grey-headed Flying Foxes. Foxground was originally known as "The Flying Foxes Camping Ground". The indigenous people of this area are from the Wadi Wadi and Yuin tribes.
