Griffith, New South Wales
Griffith is a city in south-western New South Wales, Australia. It is also the seat of the City of Griffith local government area. Like the Australian capital, Canberra and the nearby town of Leeton, Griffith was designed by Walter Burley Griffin. Griffith was named after Sir Arthur Griffith the first New South Wales minister of Public Works. Griffith was proclaimed a city in 1987, and had a population of 17,616 in 2011.
Lake Wyangan
Lake Wyangan is a recreational lake located immediately to the northwest of the town of Griffith in New South Wales, Australia. The lake was formed in 1950 and is surrounded by many orchards. It was formed with the remnants of a gypsum mine and also there was a natural swamp at the location as well. The lake is a popular attraction for tourists and locals alike.
Hermit's Cave
The Hermit's Cave, situated on Scenic Hill on the outskirts of the town of Griffith, New South Wales, Australia, is in fact a complex of stone structures covering an area of 16 hectares. These structures include shelters, terraced gardens, water cisterns, dry-stone walling and linking bridges, stairways and paths that stretch intermittently across more than a kilometre of the escarpment.

The City of Griffith is a local government area in Riverina region of south-western New South Wales, Australia. The Shire is located adjacent to the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area and on Kidman Way. In addition to Griffith, the area includes the towns and villages of Willbriggie, Hanwood, Beelbangera, Bilbul, Yoogali, Widgelli, Yenda, Lake Wyangan, Tharbogang and Warburn and the suburbs of Collina, North Griffith, Murrumbidgee Estate, Mayfair and Pioneer.
Yenda
Yenda is a town in the Riverina district of New South Wales, Australia. The town is located about 16 kilometres east of Griffith, 45 kilometres of Narrandera, and 550 kilometres west of Sydney in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area of southern New South Wales. Yenda was originally populated by Australian, English, Scottish and French returned servicemen from the first World War but an influx of Italian farmers followed.
Beelbangera
Beelbangera is a town in the north west of the Riverina and situated about 2 kilometres north-east from Griffith and about 7 kilometres south-west of Yenda. At the 2006 census Beelbangera had a population of 305. The place name Beelbangera is derived from the local Aboriginal word meaning "Native Companion". Beelbangera Post Office opened on 1 September 1919.
Bilbul, New South Wales
Bilbul is a village in the central part of the Riverina and situated about 6 kilometres north-east from Griffith and 6 kilometres south-west from Yenda. Bilbul was named in honor of William T Bull, an early landowner from the 1880s. The William Bull Brewery is located at Bilbul and named after William Bull, and thus indirectly also after Bilbul. The town had a population at the 2006 census of 246 people.
Hanwood, New South Wales
Hanwood is a town in the central Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The town is located 5 kilometres south of Griffith, New South Wales and is in the City of Griffith local government area. At the 2006 census, Hanwood had a population of 583. Hanwood Post Office opened on 1 January 1921. Hanwood is known for its wineries, in particular the McWilliam's winery, established in 1913, which has a bottle-shaped tasting room.
Warburn, New South Wales
Warburn is a small rural community in the central north part of the Riverina. It is situated by road, about 10 kilometres south east from Tabbita and 12 kilometres north west from Griffith.

Tharbogang
Tharbogang is a village and rural locality in the Riverina region of south-west New South Wales, Australia. The village is in the City of Griffith local government area and on the Kidman Way, 8 kilometres north west of the centre of Griffith and 580 kilometres west of the state capital, Sydney. At the 2006 census, Tharbogang and the surrounding rural area had a population of 737. Tharbogang is a former station on the Temora–Roto railway line.
