Homebush, New South Wales
Homebush is a western suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Homebush is located 15 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Strathfield. Homebush West and Homebush Bay are separate suburbs. Homebush is located south of Homebush Bay, an inlet of the Parramatta River.
Municipality of Strathfield
The Municipality of Strathfield is a local government area of the Inner West of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Strathfield Council was incorporated in 1885 and originally included the suburbs of Redmire, Homebush and Druitt Town. The name Strathfield was adopted as the name of the new council in 1885. The suburb of Redmire was renamed Strathfield in 1886. Druitt Town was renamed Strathfield South in the early 1890s. Only Homebush survives as an original location name.
Parramatta Road
Parramatta Road is the major historical east-west artery of metropolitan Sydney, Australia, connecting the Sydney CBD with Parramatta. It is the easternmost part of the Great Western Highway. Much of its traffic has been diverted to modern expressways such as the M4 and the City West Link Road. It passes many other major roads in Sydney such as the Hume Highway, Woodville Road, Centenary Drive and Old Canterbury Road.
Strathfield, New South Wales
Strathfield is an Inner West suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 14 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district. It is the administrative centre of the local government area of the Municipality of Strathfield. A small section of the suburb north of the railway line sits in the local government area of the City of Canada Bay, while the area east of The Boulevard, sits within the Burwood Council.
Homebush railway station
Homebush railway station is a station on the Main Suburban railway line of Sydney's CityRail system. Located in the suburb of Homebush, it is at the point where six tracks reduce to four. The station is served mainly by Inner West line trains, though some South line trains also stop here. There are seven platforms, of which only four are regularly used by stopping trains. A freight line connection to North Strathfield also passes through the station adjacent to platform 1.
Strathfield massacre
The Strathfield massacre was a shooting rampage in Sydney, Australia on Saturday, 17 August 1991. The shooter was Wade Frankum, who killed himself as police arrived at the scene. The incident left eight dead and six wounded.
Homebush Boys High School
Homebush Boys High School, founded in 1936, is a comprehensive public high school for boys. It is in Homebush, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Formerly a selective high school until the 1970s, Homebush Boys is regarded as one of the academically best-performing comprehensive schools, and has, in the past, been ranked above selective schools on the Higher School Certificate results. The school has an enrolment of approximately 1208 students, fluctuating from year to year.
Strathfield railway station

North Strathfield railway station
North Strathfield is a CityRail railway station on the Northern line. The station serves the residential area of North Strathfield. During trackwork on the Western line, trains will sometimes run between North Strathfield Station and Olympic Park Station. This happened when there was a major event on at Acer arena (Allphones Arena) and there was trackwork on the Western line and trains were unable to run between Olympic Park Station and Lidcombe Station.
Burwood railway station, Sydney
Burwood is a major station on the main suburban line in the suburb of Burwood in Sydney. The station is located on Burwood Road, close to major shops and schools, and has platforms on all six of the tracks through the station. The station concourse is below the platforms with access to Burwood Road. Burwood is served by CityRail's Northern, Western, South and Inner West lines.

Concord Oval
Concord Oval (also Waratah Stadium) is a rugby stadium in Concord, Australia. It is currently used mostly for rugby union matches and was used for eight matches during the 1987 Rugby World Cup. The stadium is able to hold 20,000 people and opened in 1985. The stadium has two opposing grandstands. The eastern stand hosts the tennis box-style seats, television gantry and the change rooms. The stand runs approximately from try-line to try-line. The western stand contains a gym and some boxes.

City of Canada Bay Museum
The City of Canada Bay Museum is located in Sydney, Australia, in the suburb of Concord The original museum was located on Wellbank St Concord and opened in 2000. The museum was officially re-opened on Saturday 16 May 2009 after moving to its new premises now located in the old Concord library at Bent Street. The museum has a collection that has been sourced from various locations with artifacts that range from 1915 to the 1970s.
