Winmalee High School
Winmalee High School is an Australian public school situated in the North of the suburb of Winmalee in the city of Blue Mountains, Australia. The School is near the National Park which has been recently placed on the World Heritage List and surrounds the City. It was established in 1985, and teaches students from year 7 to year 12. The school is famous for its Autumn Art Festival, which supports well-known local artists from throughout the region.

The Valley Heights Locomotive Depot Heritage Museum is a railway museum located in Valley Heights, New South Wales, Australia. It is operated by the Blue Mountains Division of the New South Wales Rail Transport Museum. The Valley Heights Steam Tramway is also located in the former locomotive depot. The facility is located 300 metres north-west of Valley Heights railway station.
Yellow Rock, New South Wales (Blue Mountains)
Yellow Rock is a small village in New South Wales, Australia. Yellow Rock is located 78 kilometres north-west of Sydney, in the local government area of the City of Blue Mountains. At the 2006 census, Yellow Rock had a population of 600. Yellow Rock is situated on the eastern, lower slopes of the Blue Mountains and the western side of the Nepean River extending back some way from it, the elevation rising from the river.
Glenbrook Lagoon
Glenbrook Lagoon is a fresh water lagoon located in Glenbrook, New South Wales at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Bordered by suburban-style streets and houses on four sides, it serves as a reminder of the area's historic bush past. Best known for being discovered by William Lawson, William Wentworth and Gregory Blaxland on their crossing of the Blue Mountains in 1813, the waterhole was later used to cool the engines of the early trains.
Blue Gum Swamp
The Blue Gum Swamp is situated at Winmalee in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, Australia. Sometimes it is called the Blue Gum Forest, however, this may cause confusion with the more famous Blue Gum Forest further west in the Grose Valley. In the distant past, the valley floor was blocked. This caused a residual alluvial deposit, which resulted in relatively deep and fertile soils. The tall Mountain Blue Gums in the gully may reach 50 metres in height.
