Australian Institute of Sport
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) is a sports training institution in Australia. The Institute's headquarters were opened in 1981 and are situated in Canberra (the capital city of Australia). The Division of Fraser is an Australian Electoral Division in the Australian Capital Territory and the Jervis Bay Territory. The division was created in 1974 and is named for James Fraser, who was member for Australian Capital Territory 1951-70. It encompasses the northern suburbs of Canberra, including the districts of Belconnen, Gungahlin, North Canberra and also Jervis Bay Territory. It also includes the land in the ACT north of the Molonglo River and Lake Burley Griffin.

The suburb is named after George Thomas Palmer (1784–1854) who established a settlement in the Canberra region in 1826 called Palmerville, which was later renamed Ginninderra. It was gazetted on 20 March 1991. Streets are named after mountains and mountain ranges of Australia, with the main street called Kosciuszko Avenue. It is next to the suburbs of Nicholls, Gungahlin, Crace and Franklin.

Crace is a suburb of Canberra, Australia in the district of Gungahlin. It was named after Edward Kendall Crace an original settler in the Gungahlin area. Streets in Crace are named after parishes and land divisions from colonial times. It is bounded by the Barton Highway, Gundaroo Drive, Nudurr Drive and Gungahlin Drive. AIS Arena
AIS Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Canberra, Australia. Its capacity is 5,200 and it was built in 1980. The arena was opened by the Prime Minister of Australia, Malcolm Fraser, on 26 January 1981 and was originally named the National Indoor Sports Centre and was the inaugural home of the Australian Institute of Sport. The AIS Arena is home to the Canberra Capitals and Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) who play in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL).

Canberra University College
Canberra University College was a tertiary education institution established in Canberra by the Australian government and the University of Melbourne in 1930. At first it operated in the Telopea Park School premises after hours. Most of the initial students were public servants and all were part-timers. After WWII funding for the College was increased significantly. The College operated until 1960 when it was incorporated into the Australian National University as the School of General Studies.

Old Canberra Inn
The Old Canberra Inn is one of the earliest licensed pubs in the Canberra region, Australia. The original slab hut was built in 1860 by Joseph Schumack and in 1876 it was licenced as an inn. It was a coach stop on the Yass to Queanbeyan run until 1887 when it was sold to John Read. It became the Read family home until 1974, called The Pines until it was renovated and relicensed as the Old Canberra Inn.
Ginninderra
Ginninderra is the name of the former agricultural lands surrendered to urban development on the western and north-western fringes of Canberra, Australia's National Capital. Ginninderra corresponds with the watershed of Ginninderra Creek, which is now in part occupied by the Canberra districts of Belconnen and Gungahlin. The word 'Ginninderra' is one of several - Molonglo, Gold Creek and Monaro are others - that hold longstanding connections to Canberra's local history.
666 ABC Canberra
666 ABC Canberra is an ABC Local Radio station based in Canberra and broadcasting to the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding the New South Wales region. This includes the cities and towns of Queanbeyan, Yass and Bungendore. The station began as 2CN in 1953 originally broadcasting on 1540 AM and later on 1440 AM. In 1983, it changed to the current AM frequency of 666 kHz. The station first broadcast from studios based at the transmitter site at Gungahlin.
