Australian Institute of Sport
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) is a sports training institution in Australia. The Institute's headquarters were opened in 1981 and are situated in Canberra (the capital city of Australia). The 66-hectare site campus is in the northern suburb of Bruce, but some of the institute's programs are located in other Australian cities. The AIS is a division of the Australian Sports Commission.

The suburb name was gazetted in 1928, but development did not commence until 1958. The streets of Lyneham are named after artists and people associated with the development of early Canberra.

Northbourne Avenue is a major road in Canberra, Australia. It extends from City Hill in the south to the Federal Highway in the north. It is a north-south running road which has three lanes for motorised traffic, and one lane for bicycles running in each direction, with a large median strip with rows of trees. The speed limit is 60 km/h, with an 80 km/h speed limit north of the intersection with Mouat Street and Antill Street.

All Saints Church is an Anglican church located in the suburb of Ainslie, Canberra. It is part of the diocese of Canberra and Goulburn in the Anglican Church of Australia. The original building started as the First Mortuary station in Rookwood Cemetery, Sydney, as noted on a plaque on the church: "The stonework of this church was originally used to build the first mortuary station on the branch railway to the necropolis rookwood near Sydney.

Old Canberra Inn
The Old Canberra Inn is one of the earliest licensed pubs in the Canberra region, Australia. The original slab hut was built in 1860 by Joseph Schumack and in 1876 it was licenced as an inn. It was a coach stop on the Yass to Queanbeyan run until 1887 when it was sold to John Read. It became the Read family home until 1974, called The Pines until it was renovated and relicensed as the Old Canberra Inn.

666 ABC Canberra is an ABC Local Radio station based in Canberra and broadcasting to the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding the New South Wales region. This includes the cities and towns of Queanbeyan, Yass and Bungendore. The station began as 2CN in 1953 originally broadcasting on 1540 AM and later on 1440 AM. In 1983, it changed to the current AM frequency of 666 kHz. The station first broadcast from studios based at the transmitter site at Gungahlin.
