Lake Ginninderra
Lake Ginninderra is an artificial lake located on the Ginninderra Creek in Canberra. It is adjacent to the Belconnen Town Centre. The lake was constructed in 1974 to collect stormwater discharge from a 98.8km² catchment that includes the surrounding suburbs of Aranda, Macquarie, Cook, Bruce, Belconnen, McKellar, Giralang, Kaleen in the eastern areas of Belconnen and Gungahlin. The lake is home to much wildlife, such as the Black swan, moorhens, ducks and the Rakali.

Cameron Offices, Belconnen
The Cameron Offices, are located in the Australian capital Canberra, in the satellite district of Belconnen. The buildings were used to house Australian Commonwealth Government departments, most recently the government superannuation agency, ComSuper. The buildings were designed by John Andrews in the Brutalist style of architecture and constructed between 1970-77. The buildings were constructed primarily of concrete and consisted of a series of pavilions linked by walkways.

Southern Cross Drive, Canberra
Southern Cross Drive, Canberra is a dual carriageway road in the district of Belconnen, Australian Capital Territory. It bypasses the suburbs of Page, Florey, Latham, Scullin, Higgins, Holt and Macgregor. Southern Cross Drive becomes Parkwood Road west of Macgregor. Parkwood Road is the main thouroghfare to Parkwood Landfill and Ginninderra Falls. The general speed limit is 80 km/h, however in built up and residential areas, it is reduced to 60 km/h.
Ginninderra Creek
Ginninderra Creek, a partly perennial stream of the Murrumbidgee catchment within the Murray-Darling basin, is located in the Capital Country region spanning both the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales, Australia. Ginninderra is derived from the Aboriginal word, meaning "sparkling" or "throwing little rays of light". The traditional custodians of the land surrounding Ginninderra Creek are the Aboriginal people of the Ngunnawal tribe.
McKellar Park (Canberra)

The playing surface is rectangular in shape and is used almost exclusively for football (soccer) matches. The Belconnen Library is the primary public library servicing the Belconnen district, one of ten libraries in the ACT Library and Information Services network, and one of two in Belconnen, the other being Kippax Library. Miles Franklin Primary School
Miles Franklin Primary School is a primary school in Evatt, Canberra. The school is named after Australian author Miles Franklin and was opened in 1980; as Franklin's novel My Brilliant Career had received public acclaim in 1979, it seemed right for the school to be named after her. Each year the school celebrates her birthday with a writing competition and an 'old fashion' dress up day. During this day the students are involved in a variety of activities from yester year.
Hawker College
Hawker College is a senior secondary college in the Australian Capital Territory. It caters to students completing their final two years of secondary education, and offers a wide range of curriculum choices. Established in 1976 Hawker has a non-selective enrolment policy and currently caters for students from year 11 through to year 12. It is currently in its 36th year of operation.
