Fondation Université Française en Arménie is a French language higher educational institution in Armenia. The university is located on Davit Anhaght street at the Kanakerr-Zeytun district of Yerevan. Instruction is primarily in French and Armenian. An agreement on cultural, scientific and technical collaboration was signed in 1995, November 4 between Armenia and France.

Plans to establish the ErAZ factory came about on December 31, 1964, by the Council of Ministers of the Armenian SSR. The original staff were trained at the Riga Autobus Factory (RAF) in Latvia and UAZ in Russia.

RUSAL ARMENAL
RUSAL ARMENAL is a wholly owned subsidiary of RUSAL which runs an aluminum foil mill in the Arabkir district of Yerevan, Armenia. The premises of the mill was formerly known as the Kanaker aluminum smelter, which was commissioned in 1950, and became one of the largest aluminum foil mills in the Soviet Union and Europe in the 1980s.

The Yerevan Botanical Garden of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences is the responsible body for plant collections in Armenia.
