Fondation Université Française en Arménie
Fondation Université Française en Arménie is a French language higher educational institution in Armenia. The university is located on Davit Anhaght street at the Kanakerr-Zeytun district of Yerevan. Instruction is primarily in French and Armenian. An agreement on cultural, scientific and technical collaboration was signed in 1995, November 4 between Armenia and France.
Arabkir district
Arabkir District is a neighborhood that used to be a separate village in Yerevan, Armenia. As of the 2011 estimate, the district has a population of 130,600. It is bordered by Hrazdan River to the north and west, the Kentron to the south, and Kanaker-Zeytun to the east. Its main thoroughfare is Komitas Avenue. The district is commonly divided into five smaller neighborhoods: Nor Arabkir, Mergelyan, Aygedzor, Kanaker Hydropower Plant and Raykom.

ErAZ (Armenian: Երեւանի ավտոմոբիլային գործարան, Russian: Ереванский Автомобильный Завод, ЕрАЗ, Yerevanskiy Avtomobilny Zavod) was an automobile manufacturer in Yerevan, Armenia mostly known for producing the van RAF-977K (as ErAZ-762) from 1966 to 1996. Plans to establish the ErAZ factory came about on December 31, 1964, by the Council of Ministers of the Armenian SSR. The original staff were trained at the Riga Autobus Factory (RAF) in Latvia and UAZ in Russia.

Kanaker
Kanaker (Armenian: Քանաքեռ; also Romanized as K’anak’err, Kenaker, Kanaker, and Qanaqer) was a town in Armenia to the north-east of the capital Yerevan. With the urban development, the village was gradually absorbed by the capital Yerevan thus becoming part of the Kanaker-Zeytun district. Many prominent Armenians are natives of Kanaker such as the writer and educator Khachatur Abovian and the composer Djivan Gasparyan.
RUSAL ARMENAL
RUSAL ARMENAL is a wholly owned subsidiary of RUSAL which runs an aluminum foil mill in the Arabkir district of Yerevan, Armenia. The premises of the mill was formerly known as the Kanaker aluminum smelter, which was commissioned in 1950, and became one of the largest aluminum foil mills in the Soviet Union and Europe in the 1980s.
