Karbi, Armenia
Karbi is a village in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia situated near the town of Ashtarak. Within the area is a triple-nave basilica of S. Astvatsatsin dated to 1691-93 with an unattached adjacent belfry of 1338. In the village are also S. Gevorg or S. Kiraki church of the 11th to 13th centuries, Tsiranavor, a Tukh Manuk shrine, and "Zargarents Jam" chapel built between the 11th to 13th centuries.
Mughni
Mughni is a village in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. It is located within the city limits of and just north of the city of Ashtarak. Until the Russian conquest, it was the southernmost town in the district of Aparan. Mughni has a recently restored 14th century monastery of S. Gevorg, which was formerly a popular pilgrimage site and the seat of an archbishop. The dome of the church was rebuilt in the 1660s.

Ohanavan
Ohanavan is a town in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. Ohanavan was resettled in 1828 by emigrants from Muş. On a nearby escarpment sits the 13th c. Hovhannavank Monastery. Both the town and the monastery are situated atop a steep gorge carved by the Kasagh river.
Ushi
Ushi is a village in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. Until the Russian conquest in 1828, Ushi was the administrative center of the Sayyidli-Aksakhali Mahal (district). The town contains a small 10th century chapel, and approximately 1 km outside of the village are the ruins of Saint Sargis Monastery of the 7th-13th centuries. Under the Chapel of Saint Sargis (the only structure still standing), is the grave and re-interred remains of the aforementioned saint.
